On paper I use to think the D line rotation made sense. Its not working in practice.  For this type of investment our D line should be getting after the QB like Josh was gotten after yesterday.  They went up against a 3rd string oline with one week of practice together.  It was probably the cleanest game Burrow ever played in his career and probably their best run game all season.

It doesnt work.  Scrap that ***** and invest heavily in the offense.  I dont care if we have a mediocre defense if our O can score and Josh has time to throw the ball.  They want to be a downfield team but they only give Josh barely enough time to dink and dunk.

Things need to change or this team wont get past the WC round next season, if they make the playoffs at all.

Whatever you need to do to support your narrative.

The narrative that the #2 seed with home field advantage got embarrassed and curb stomped at home ?

Cool season ☠️

You thought it was cool when Tyrod was patting the football so I guess this is an upgrade.

They prob do the same next year unless some men are brought in to block

So if KC or Cincy have a lob-sided loss next week you think they should fire the coach?

THANK YOU! The defensive line rotation simply pulls money away from other positions. No other team in the NFL has a rotation like we do. The philosophy would make sense if it was backed with championships.

or good play

No, those teams win or make it to Super Bowls.

This one is good enough to pull out gutsy wins vs the Lions and 3rd string Miami Qb’s

Rousseau - 65%

Epenesa - 43%

Cook - 33%

Basham - 31%

I've said it before, but the d line philosophy is the worst thing about McDermott. Having to constantly invest into a ten man rotation. At the expense of the offense. It's killing this team.

Add in the fact that McBeane clearly suck at evaluating d line talent and we have a complete disaster on our hands.

Even if the guys we drafted didn't suck a**, they wouldn't play more than 65% of snaps. What are we doing spending first and second round picks on guys that will never be close to full time players?

A pass catching RB in the second round?

New rule...if McDermott is going to insist on a rotation on defense, he shouldnt be allowed to draft one before round 4, I don't care how big the need is.

It will eventually cost Beane and McDermott a job imo.  Its so obvious now how bad the drafting has been except Allen.  They refuse to help the offense and they have pretty much reached their ceiling based off of ther insistence to invest on the Defense, and doing poorly at it to top it off.  If it won't For Josh Allen Beane and McDermott woukd not be in Buffalo right now

One guy is AFC defending champ with a 5-1 playoff record in last two years, and the other is first ballot hall of famer who’s  gone to five straight AFC title games (second time with two different organizations/conferences), three Super Bowls and won one.

Ask the question again

This is probably why James Cook looked so sad when he got drafted by the Bills, they don't play their damn rookies! This is how we end up losing solid talent like Teller and Hodgins.

our coaches are arrogant in their schemes and arrogant in who gets burn.  they platoon linemen, will play star over like phillips back in the day for no good reason, it takes months for our 1st round corner to get burn over absolute scrubs and x rhodes for some reason, cook had to ride the pine because he fumbled his first snap, we were starting friggen peterman over 1st round allen, we did some goofy rotation thing at right tackle w cody ford and that old guy we signed.

like, then we brought back 4 cast offs this season, when we were supposed to be in teh super bowl, 2 on DL where we put in so many picks and fa money!!!  the other two on wr, for our top flight qb.

how is a young guy gonna work his way onto this team?  i don't think they are given a chance as much as they should, and it results in us blowing money on jag role players who fit the scheme.

You would have fired Zac after he went 6-25-1 after his first two years.

Absolutely. And the scheme is limit snaps. Which is hilarious it’s sad. Limited snaps go to JAGs. Majority snaps go to stars. So the Bills have JAGs, not stars.
