prissythecat Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 Nope . This game was simply a continuation of what we saw during the regular season game with Cinci before the game got called . Defense couldn’t put pressure on Burrows or cover tue Bengals receivers while Bills offense could not get passing game going Quote
Steptide Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 Don't think it was the weather, but I do wonder had the Hamlin injury never happened and the mnf game got played, how today's game would've went. Would the bills have been better prepared having played them once already 2 Quote

They outcoached and outplayed us in EVERY facet. This dome sh*t excuse is beyond stupid at this point. Put the blame where it actually lays. On the two lines and on the coaches. Snow and a dome had ZERO to do with todays outcome. Bengals were better. Excuses are so weak. Well, it’s more on Beane. He’s the one who drafted all of these non-physical, undersized, speed players to play in snow storms. It wasn’t very well thought out. Someone definitely should’ve stopped him from doing that along the way. Quote
VaMilBill Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 This thread is ridiculously stupid. There isn’t even a dome to play in currently. And obviously we aren’t getting one. Not sure why people keep whining about a dome. Get over it 1 3 Quote

If we had a dome we would have won Weather was a huge issue. The Bengals called a perfect game for it. Those quick timed swing passes to Chase and their RBs worked every time. And on D, they played aggressive, because sitting on your heels in zone in the snow wasn’t going to work on a consistent basis. Look at the time we threw short to McKenzie. It was for 1 yard; he juked a LB and turned it into 9. Or the screen out wide to Singletary— easy 10 yards. The offense needed to adjust. Could have murderer them today with quick hitting stuff in stride. Then, on D, let Burrow beat you deep. Drop down and stop the short stuff and tackle well instead. 1 1 Quote

That is a fact. Quote
nedboy7 Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 (edited) The weather had a very negative overall effect on this season and this team. Bad weather teams need an OL and running game. Edited January 23, 2023 by nedboy7 3 Quote

QCity Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 This is great. We're blaming the stadium 😂😂😂 1 Quote
Buffalo03 Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 I disagree. We would have won if the Bengals didn't show up. But they did. So that's why we lost Quote
LABILLBACKER Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 The snow didn't help. Hines kept slipping. The DL couldn't get any push. This current Bills team just doesn't seem to play as well in typical Buffalo conditions as the 90's team did. It's just not an advantage anymore. 1 Quote

That should’ve never been allowed to happen. It’s an organizational failure. There has to be accountability. How do we separate any of them? Well, that’s by design. Terry got taken for a ride. Billznut Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 To me, the greatest thing that could come from today’s outcome, is that Buffalo’s drafting will get better(smarter) going forward. They must know by now they have to improve the offensive line. Can’t be ignored anymore. No Bills defense will ever stop Burrow or Mahomes. Stop drafting defense and make this offense as strong as possible and if we have to outscore teams going forward so be it. It’s already that way in the playoffs when we will play KC or Cincy. Stop trying to build defense first. That’s old school and has now been definitively proven to not work. Make our offense stronger. You have a top 3 QB. Build with that. Quote
Buffalo Ballin Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 Bookmark this thread. Cincy sure had no problem beating us in the open air. They didn't need a dome. 1 Quote

RyanC883 Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 I'm pro-dome, but I don't think it would have made a difference today. Quote
Freak-O Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 Can’t blame this on weather, refs or anything really. Bengals were better at everything in this game. It was like a natural strongman going up against a roided one. Or a regular chess player against one with Asperger. 1 Quote
