Ethan in Cleveland Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 We are stuck and there is no way out. Pegula is not going to get rid of Beane and McDermott. McDermott has done too much for the franchise and the city to be canned. So we will waste another year on Dungy 2.0 only to come up short again. We are now on three years wasted of the best QB play this team has ever had. And nothing to show for it. Next year will be four and the cap situation will only keep getting worse. This team needed a teacher and a father figure. Now they need a mercenary assassin. Give Josh Sean Payton or Jim Harbaugh and Bills win the SuperBowl next year. Its not going to happen so we had just be prepared for another year of this crap. When McDermott says we will learn and grow from this I hope some reporter has the balls to say when do you stop learning and winning instead? 11 2 6 31 2 4 3 Quote

Johnnycage46 Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 We are in early to mid round playoff exit purgatory, while burrow is playing to get to his 2nd SB or Mahomes to his 3rd. This team is never going to win a SB with McDermott. Never prepared, always outcoached. 16 12 4 Quote
jamiezzz Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 Won't happen. I wish it would though. IMO, Sean is not a game day coach, he's terrible. Give me Sean Peyton all day long. 3 3 1 Quote
BillnutinHouston Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 This is 100% correct. McD is to Bflo as Tomlin is to Pittsburgh. "Good enough" is good enough. 1 1 9 1 Quote

He needs to realize the defensive concepts need to be updated. Mix zone and man more often and disguises them fare better than we have. Quote

What parallel dimension are you in? No coach comes up small in big spots more than Jim Harbaugh. 3 5 2 Quote
McBean Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 Spot on. I’ve said it for 2 years. McClappy won’t lead us anywhere. You get banned on here for saying anything about the guy tho. 12 2 1 1 Quote
Nextmanup Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 Ironically, we get our butts kicked by Cincinnati, who had to fire a VERY successful head coach to get where they are now. Do we have another: 4 9 1 Quote

K D Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 We are the Dolphins of the 90's. We have a great QB and we win a lot of games but it's all for not because there are better teams in the AFC and we won't get rid of our coach because everyone loves him. Purgatory indeed 1 1 6 Quote

Buffalo03 Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 Do you think the Eagles said this every year of Andy Reid's tenure there? What about his first 5 or 6 years in Kansas City? He is a HOF head coached that took over 20 years to win his first Super Bowl. Relax Quote

pigpen65 Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 (edited) The offense needs an experienced coordinator. No ifs, ands, or buts. Dorsey is flat out in over his head. Edited January 23, 2023 by pigpen65 2 9 1 1 Quote

I don’t know if we give him am ultimatum, but this is pretty much what needs to happen. As bad as our loss was today, this might be the least disappointed I've been with McD at a season end. I thought he did a great job this year. But he has to address the coordinators - we went from having one championship level guy to zero 1 1 Quote
