OldTimer1960 Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 Stop. Believe it or not Josh Allen is not the only outstanding QB in the league and some teams have better rosters than Bills. Honestly, I have no defendable complaints with Bills. They overcame bad injuries and Dane Jackson disaster. They are very good, but not the only team that is very good. 1 Quote

Chugga Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 (edited) Chucky got a call after Tony Dungy built a winner. Andy Reid got replaced after 4 AFC Championship game appearances and a couple down years. Doug Peterson got replaced after winning a SB. Some times you hit a wall. Not saying McDermott is bad but how do we fix this? And if the answer is to keep doing the same thing, and try harder then yeah you make calls Changes need to be made. Hopefully McDermott is the one to do them. But we can’t “run this back” Edited January 22, 2023 by Chugga 2 1 Quote
Jerboski Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 He should Sean has shown his defense doesn’t hold up in the playoffs how many times do we need to watch it 1 Quote
TheFunPolice Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 Keep the band together, we're all buddies! The 17 year drought will keep McDermott employed for as long as Allen plays. 3 Quote
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 I’m listening …. You’ve got a generational talent at QB. His clock is ticking 3 1 Quote
gordong Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 McD is Marv Levy all over again.... just not good enough. Frazier should be fired by Wednesday, only way I will think differently of McD 1 4 2 Quote
That's No Moon Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 To me this is about organizational accountability. We have a statistically great defense that folds like origami in the playoffs. Who is accountable for that? We have a defensive line FULL of first and second round picks that can't generate pressure OR stop the run. Who is accountable for that? Our offensive line is criminally terrible year after year, who is accountable? What the team has shown us this far is nobody is accountable and we have now wasted two seasons because of it. 2 1 Quote

Buffalo03 Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 Can we delete this garbage? Unless you mean pay him head coach money to come be our OC then sure, give him a call Quote
Rc2catch Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 I almost always support the front office, and I think Mcdermott is a good coach. But the seat should be getting warm imo. 3 Quote
ILBillsfan Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 interesting of the 8 teams in these divisional games are all offense oriented.....McDermott the one outlyer........ the 13s form last year imo will go down as a huge miss for this franchise and that with a asst HC DC and HC defensive guy can't happen..... Too early but if this team doesn't make some AFC Championships besides the one moving forward a HC change could take place if the eyes are truely on the lambardi and if you are going to to make a change you do it now while Josh is young vs later imo Quote
Buffalo ill Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 McDermott shouldn't be fired, but I do not forsee any team he coaches ever getting out of the divisional round again. 1 Quote
gflande1 Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 Wouldn’t he cost a crap ton to get? Picks or something like that Quote

The Bills will still be good next year, but they won’t be Super Bowl favorites and Josh won’t be an MVP favorite. The Bills have been knocked down a peg or two and hopefully that will help them next year. Lowered expectations. Draft well. Hopefully enough cap space created to sprinkle in a few additions and let’s see what happens. Looks like a really tough schedule though. Especially on the road. Quote

Governor Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 (edited) Correct protocol would be to give McD an ultimatum to fire the coordinators and get a last chance for 1 season or he gots to go. Edited January 22, 2023 by Governor 6 1 Quote
