Alphadawg7 Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 Sean Payton is over rated. No thanks, not any interest in trading a first round pick to bring in an over rated HC who struggled to even make the playoffs half of Brees career in NO. 1 Quote
Nelius Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 What exactly are the McD white knights happy about? I was a fan too but c’mon guys. These are two brutal playoff exits in a row. How is it going to get better? 3 Quote
HappyDays Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 If the next season ends the same way that's when you make the change. McDermott and Beane get one more offseason to prove they can take this team to the next step. If they can't you don't waste any more of Allen's career. 1 Quote

BillsSbSoon Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 (edited) In theory of course he should. But then we would also have to give a up a first round pick. Starting to think we have gone as far as we can with McDermott though Edited January 22, 2023 by BillsSbSoon Quote
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 You want to change coaches OK, not that I totally agree or think it will happen. But wouldn't be in favor of Peyton. He won one SB with a top 5 QB, and had a number of .500 seasons. Really not that impressed with him. Think the bigger issue may be the schemes and coordinators than McD. 1 Quote

But the seat should be getting warm imo. I honestly don’t ever see Pegula making a change while the Bills are a playoff team each year, no matter how bitter the conclusion. IF the Bills miss the playoffs for a year or two, that’s the only way I see Pegula ever considering a move. 1 Quote

Donuts and Doritos Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 I called him, he laughed at me & hung up. 1 Quote

wppete Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 100% get him on the phone. Offer the saints straight up trade for McDermott and Frazier. They can have Tredavious white also. 1 Quote
BananaB Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 100% You could tell at the start they handcuffed Josh. Down 14-0 and we go back to back runs? Come on. Fact is, since Josh was drafted they have done nothing but build McDs defense. We used a first on Diggs, but besides that what have we done for this O? It’s all for the D and they put up a performance like that. Terrible 1 Quote
Billl Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 Payton is the most overrated coach since Cowher. Quote

No...look at some of the results he fielded with Prime Brees. He won one SB but then underachieved a lot. 1 Quote
McBean Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 I want somebody to defend Sean McDermott. He has rode Josh Allen and benefited from Brady away from New England 2 Quote

Alphadawg7 Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 (edited) WE ARE NOT TRADING A FIRST ROUND PICK TO SIGN A HEAD COACH. We are cap strapped and desperately need our picks to rebuild the OL, WR group, RB and maybe replace guys like Poyer and Edmunds if they leave. END THREAD. PetermansRedemption Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 I’m not ready to dump McDermott yet, but I’m close. I give him a fresh start without Frazier and maybe without Dorsey. 1 1 1 Quote
