TheFunPolice Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 I think the worst part is people trying to make you feel better and trying not to be snippy. It's tough. Quote

Last year hurt WAY more. The game in KC was winnable. With that roster. This year, they simply suffered too many setbacks, some external, some self inflicted. This team can still win it all, but they have work to do to be sure. Not with this staff Quote

WideNine Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 (edited) A very flawed team for most of the season. Had to claw our way to wins against midling opponents most of the season and any attempt to discuss the issues drew a strange barrage of hate on the board. Kudos to the players on this team who did fight and claw all year to pull out the wins we had. We are the class of the AFC East, but not in the same league (this season) with the Bengals or Chiefs. Beane needs to simply do what he has to do to fix both lines. There are popular players he needs to let go of to make room I am sure and some tough decisions. They need to do some real soul searching as to why our DL got steam rolled by backups and why our starting OL got consistently beat by 3 and 4 man rushes and cannot open run lanes. There are guys playing out the final years to either big long-term contracts or letting them walk. Today's game made you ask where are the playmakers on this team.
