McD has no imprint on this team he is just the CEO that does PR and claps, Dorsey runs the offense no accountability , Frasier does the Defense no accountability. So why is he even here. Other coaches are involved with players om the sideline talking making adj but not him.

He's he to give glory to god and to tell us that it's hard to win and the NFL.  Oh, and that it starts with him.  And that he's proud of his team for battling.

Can you blame them after the Hamlin situation?  I’d be emotionless too

Great coaches use that as motivation.....we have e had nothing but heart wrench in this city and just enough heartache with this coaching staff....this isn't a young team....if they can't get motivated by now they never will

I disagree.  Our RB's are to small.  Our O line has only one above average player.  The rest are below average.  For crying out loud on a snow covered field the Bengal managed to get hurries on Allen on almost half his drop backs!  And our offensive skill players?  We have one great WR the rest are below average.

Over the course of this season I had blinders on because we were winning. I didn't want to recognize the fundamental issues that my eyes were seeing.  We won 13 games primarily because of the elite play of our QB and WR#1.

I comforted myself in our defensive rankings.  We couldn't be bad because we were a top 5 unit by almost every measure.  Yet in to many games the D seemed to melt away at critical moments giving up game changing plays and drives.  Think about today. After coming out flat and letting the Bengal's jump out to a 14 - 0 lead we cut their lead to 14 - 7 and how does the D respond? They allow an 8 minute drive that only ends in a FG and not a TD because of a great play by Millano on the ball. Then after we use up half the 3rd quarter to again cut the Cincy lead to one score our D gives up a long TD drive that uses up most of the rest of the 3rd quarter to go up 24 - 10.

Our OL and RB's showed the ability every time they were given the chance to run and run well.  They hurried Allen because they were blitzing DB's offf the edge.  Something we seldom do, much like running the ball.  I'm not saying Dawkins and Brown were great but they weren't the overall problem.

the move was to outbid the Rams for Von Miller last year.

but yes, we need to improve at WR, OL, and stop investing so much in the D for minimal gains

We won't so long as the rest of the conference keeps improving.  We'll be lucky to win the division next year if the Dolphins don't go on losing streaks and the Jets find a QB.  Bengals and Chiefs are clearly in another class than us.  So we're going to be scraping into the playoffs and will probably be perennial one-and-done or won-and-not-done but lose easily in the divisional round.  Fun!

This can’t be overstated and is definitely worth noting to temper some of the overreaction. The D has been missing guys and playing injured all year. It’s clearly had an effect.

It’s all about the eye-test, we just don’t pass it offensively or defensively.

This.  I agree 100%.

The phrase "Statistics are for losers" was coined for a reason.  Some of us that would provide a critique of a player on here, based on the eye-test, would get mercilessly refuted by others that ground their counter argument in selective statistics.

Case in point, I have stated multiple times that while Ed Oliver seems like a really good dude, he is a pretty average player. The eye-test, week-in and week-out, confirms this.  Yet, some here would then bring up a random statistic about "pressures" or some other curious statistic that would suggest Big Ed is a beast.

Unfortunately, today revealed the eye-test can be superior to analytics or statistics and when reflecting on what happened today, it came as no shock that we got mauled.

I was as hopeful as anyone that today could be our day.  But deep down, we just do not have the personnel to play with the big boys... particularly in the trenches.

Today removed doubt or it should have.

TB12 will probably be in Miami with all those weapons, he’ll

just need to manage games to roll.

I agree…. With this same squad I don’t think we even win the division.

The 2nd half of the Green Bay game was an eye opener, solidified by the Jets game in NJ. I think the scene is a big part of it but it’s utterly deflating to get steamrolled like that.

I was blinded by the brilliance of Allen & Diggs.  They are the two best payers on this team.  Going forward we must surround them with the best possible complementary talent.

James Cook had 5 carries today.

Nyheim Hines never got going on this offense despite having games where he saw 10 targets in Indy last year. It’s so insanely frustrating. We don’t need McCaffrey, we need to know how to develop and utilize existing players. The Hines stuff is insanity, he’s not even a rookie!

Better than 27-10

In all seriousness, if they had successfully acquired McCaffrey or Kamara I wonder how different the offense would’ve been run. Would Dorsey have developed an effective screen game?
