I don't think it's that he won't play within it. It is that our system gives receivers too many options on routes and Josh and the receivers need to be on the same page, with a weak oline that doesn't hold up.

San Francisco might object.  Our defense definitely won't win any championships though... we don't have the quality starters that most other teams seem to have.

Must be a harsh reality to those who bashed us that called this all week. This was always a bad matchup for us but more importantly I HOPE (can’t stress that enough) that this gets frazier canned and McDermott (although that’s not happening). Will you all admit Beane isn’t all that great either finally? Hasn’t drafted a pro bowler in 4 years. Holes everywhere.

I hope this game turns a light on, and the franchise realizes certain things are not working correctly against the big dogs when the games matter most.

 

The roster should be a good bit different next year.  

 

Will the coordinators be the same?

Who get Fired first? Frazier? Dorsey or McDermott??? There is no way there will not be any major accountability after this? Heads have to roll to make a statement. There is no other way.

This is unexcusable.  Not even considering we have one of the best qbs to ever play football.  Coaching needs to address the Offense heavy in the draft or they should be on the hot seat.  They obviously can not evaluate the DL well.  We should have the #1 DL in the league based off our draft capital and FA contracts spent.  They are somehow garbage.  Stop with it.  Just stop with the Defensive draft and FA signings.  It has absolutely failed to this point

That is part of the problem, Dorsey can’t control him, and the play design is just terrible.

Cinci had 4 guys on the O-line who were essentially of Bates, Brown, Saffold quality, their one decent O-lineman Karras, played hurt most of the game.  Our highly drafted/highly paid D-line couldn't stop the run, or get to Burrow.

Everyone still trusting that process?..everyone praising bean for spending all that money on the defense that couldn't sniff burrow behind a backup oline?.....how is that defense beginning with TAMPA doing in Buffalo?...when does Allen deserve an innovative offense minded coach? We are wasting a generational level QB with a super CONSERVATIVE staff

Wouldn't be surprised if they part ways with Frazier. Zero adjustments or creativity on defense.

SF isn’t just defense. Their offense is unstoppable too with CMC. Him with shanahan is a cheat code. They’re going to murder Dallas.

If we are honest with ourselves, we have always been sort of a soft finesse team under McDermott.  We don't appear to have a real identity outside of Josh Allen and a charitable fanbase that jumps through tables.
