Doc Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 That was predictable. I told a (hot) nurse at work who was sure the Giants were going to the SB that if they got there, I'd pay for the food for her SB party. 1 Quote
BillsFan4 Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 Even though I was rooting for Daboll and the giants, I didn’t expect them to win. But I was definitely hoping it would be a more competitive game than that! The eagles just had the NYG number this season. Ill be interested to see what the giants do this offseason. I’m curious if they follow the Buffalo model and truly start the rebuild next year after making the playoffs this year. Or if they try to retain guys like Barkley + Jones and add more pieces around them. Quote
Buffalo Ballin Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 (edited) New York Giants was awful everywhere. The inexperienced also showed. Eagles WR AJ Brown looked physically hurt at the end. He pulled something. Edited January 22, 2023 by Buffalo Ballin Quote

Billsfanatic8989 Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 Are the Eagles that good or the Giants just not ready for primetime (Literally and figuratively I suppose)? Truth may lie somewhere in the middle. Regardless, next week a red hot team (Cowboys or Niners) is coming to town. Things get tougher. A win there for sure removes alot of doubt. I do believe the Eagles make it to the Super Bowl due to homefield advantage. Cowboys are too up and down. We've yet to see SF go into a true hostile environment and beat a team that is maybe a tad better. Quote

Truth may lie somewhere in the middle Eagles outscored Giants 108-45 in three games. So 3 wins by average of 21 points. I'd say Eagles are a bad matchup for Giants at this point. Quote

Charles Romes Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 Jones guaranteed himself $50M last week. Then lost all of it this week. Quote
Italian Bills Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 Eagles vs Giants. Watched the game and what i saw is that Gaints aren’t an élite team… ok, but hey, the Eagles are for real. Im not so sure that SF, if they’ll get to the NFCCG, we’ll have a clear path to the SB. Another thing is that that game will be played in Philly. What you think ? 1 Quote
SirAndrew Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 I realize the Eagles are a good team, but this game exposed the real Daniel Jones. Daboll has done a brilliant job making Jones look like the future in Jersey, but that game would make me have second thoughts. Quote
oldmanfan Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 Philly looked really good. And as good as SF has looked having to rely on a rookie QB to get you to Arizona is dicey. Quote
strive_for_five_guy Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 Philly definitely looked like a deserving NFC representative for the Super Bowl. Going to be tough for either the 49ers or Cowboys to go there and win. 1 Quote
Believer Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 Philly backfield three studs… O-line big and strong… Be a challenge for any team to stop their running game… Quote
GunnerBill Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 Philly murdered the Giants up front on both sides of the ball. Remember two years ago when the Eagles fans all wanted Howie Roseman out? Crazy talk. Elite GM. And what he is exceptional at is building the trenches. 1 Quote

Billzgobowlin Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 I think the NFC definitely got better this year. 49ers, Eagles and even Cowboys matchup well with the top 3 of the AFC. Quote
