The tackle by the kicker saved the game. A quick TD right there to make it 27-24 and make Mahomes have to throw it on 1 foot would have made this game very different. Also allowing Henne to go 98 yard scoring drive is just unforgivable

Really disappointed in Doug Peterson’s approach when Mahomes got hurt.  
 

He coached the game like KC would never score again.  
 

When they did, he opened it up and they started scoring.  No margin for error at that point and the fumble ended it for them.

Got off to a good start.  Kinda feel the ankle inspired them also.

 

Mahomes theatrics (not his usual theatrics of crazy plays) probably helped fire them up to.
