Guarantee that all the pundits will be picking the Jags next week if we both win.  “Trevor Lawrence did what Josh couldn’t do last year” blah blah blah

I know it’s a long shot for the Jags to win but it’d be huge to go into our game with the Bengals knowing we’d host the Jags in the AFC Championship game if we win.

Please, Trevor, go 38-0. Stay undefeated on Saturdays and beat the Chiefs!

One of the most traumatizing losses for me when I was younger was the JAX loss vs bills...96 playoffs

...and the low scoring loss  few years back as well.

Hate that team.

I was at that game, watching JK12 get carted off the field wasn't the way his career should have ended. I remember being extremely sad for a couple weeks after, it was the end of an era.

I some faith in Pederson to have a good game plan, but that Jags D is not that great.  Chiefs should roll.

Maybe the Chiefs are looking past the lowly Jags and they make some dumb mistakes and they lose.

Being there...I mean...I was just in shock.  We just simply don't lose playoff games at home...until then.

I was there, we kept saying just that! We don't lose at home, no worries...🤣

Kelly and that era was done. Jax put the exclamation! On it.

The playoff loss a few years back had a lot to do with Two yard Tyrod.

Dislike them beating Bills, but hate...No way.

As Bills fans, Jax also stamped Marino's NFL exit, playoff 62-7 if I remember.

Can't hate on that!

That’s in my top 5 of favorite non-Bills games ever for the sheer schadenfreude.  Along with NE’s three SB losses.  Not sure I have a fifth.

Trevor Lawrence is 38-0 on Saturdays going back to college and high school? I like it.

they went after kelly's bad knee bad such bs no calls or nothing hated that team ever since as well.

Well if you guys hate the Jags then I assume you want to play them... revenge is a dish best served cold, no?

What about last year’s loss? I don’t want to face the Jags.

So you'd rather play KC in Atlanta than Jacksonville in Orchard Park?

Wouldn’t surprise me at all if One-and-Done Reid reverts back to form & the Jags win. Chiefs are due for a loss.

I don't expect Jacksonville to win but I wouldn't be shocked if they did.

That jags defense is for real

An article on the improvement of the Jaguars defense since week 12:

https://www.sbnation.com/2023/1/8/23545230/jacksonville-jaguars-tennessee-titans-arden-key-travon-walker-afc-south-nfl-playoffs#:~:text=The Jaguars defense ranked 18th,better defenses in the league.

Josh Allen, Travon Walker, and Devin Lloyd are all highly-talented players. So are Tyson Campbell and Rayshawn Jenkins.

They're not a great defense but they're young and improving.

good point, not much going on in the NFL on Sundays and Mondays

You really are missing the point of the thread.  It is all about a single  Saturday game tomorrow.

Ugh...painful.  Just fast forwarded through it on a vid site.  Didn't remember the Kelly fumble not being a fumble because he was down.  And on the same play he was taken out of the game on the same play.  And then, Todd Collins comes in and craps the bed.  I knew I hated that game.  Now I hate you for bringing back that nightmare!  j/k. That game was terrible though.

JAX is an extremely streaky team, they’re fully capable of beating the Chiefs… but they’ll have to bring their A game, especially Trevor, and hope for a few funny bounces of the football.

KC will route them.  It took an epic collapse by LAC for Jax to even be in this game.

The transitive property doesn't seem to apply to sports but for what it's worth the Chiefs won each of their 2 meetings with the Chargers this year:

in Arrowhead 27-24 in September and at SoFi 30-27 in November.

On the other hand the Chiefs beat the Jaguars in Arrowhead 27-17 in week 10.
