gantrules Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 Looks like Raffy got a little to upset at yesterdays loss. Got pulled over for another DUI. I can't believe this jacka$$ would do this in the middle of the a losing streak. http://www.ajc.com/sports/content/sports/b...4/10furcal.html
nobody Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 I didn't know that the Buffalo Braves got back together.
Pete Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 I love the Buffalo Braves. Sad day when they became the Clippers. Randy Smith, Bob Mcadoo, Ernie D, Swen, etc whats not to love?

ajzepp Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 The guy has to go and put a huge black eye on an otherwise surprisingly good season. Rafael Ramirez would never have done this......... You ever watched the Bravos in HDTV? They have their own channel on Charter Cable (and Comcast too, I think) where they broadcast all the home games in HD. It' s pretty damn awesome.
gantrules Posted September 10, 2004 Author Posted September 10, 2004 No I haven't see them in High Def....of course that would take a High Def TV which I don't have. But someday I will darn it! I usually watch on TBS.
USMCBillsFan Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 The population of Braves fans will only be small until they start really making some noise in the playoffs again. Then there won't be enough room on the bandwagon for all of them to jump back on.
ajzepp Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 I remember when the early 80's Braves were in the pennant race against the Dodgers.....That was the first pro team I really started to bond with.....a lot of great memories of Bruce, Chris, Claudell, Glen, Raphael, Horner, Brett, and of course my favorite player of all time, Dale Murphy - the best person in the history of baseball. I have to say I'm more excited about the current team with all the younger players than I have been (to a degree) about some of our more recent teams.....just was getting kind of stale, even though they were still a winning club.
jarthur31 Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 Furcal is on thin ice, IMHO. His defense has much to be desired. It's great that he has totally cut down on his homerun swing. He needs to get his stevestojan together.
Spun Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 John Y. Brown. 25713[/snapback] And the other NBA owners who went along with the heist...Greedy 'tards. Atlanta Braves fans got turned off believing that their team was very good but only was going to go so high. At least they won one...
