NakedSquid Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 Had a rough year but stepped up the way we knew he could. Gabe f*cking Davis!!!! 14 1 1 1 Quote
SageAgainstTheMachine Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 Gabe definitely does some Popeye/spinach type thing when the playoffs start. The hands were back, the toe drag swag was back. Just a different player. 7 Quote
SCBills Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 Gabe Davis looked like the high end WR2 we all thought we were getting out there. Absolutely dominated his matchups all day. 4 1 Quote
LOVEMESOMEBILLS Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 I've been critical of Gabe as of late and really didn't think Beasley had anything left to give. Both had big moments today including each finding the endzone. I'll take my crow stone cold. 2 2 Quote
Buffalo_Stampede Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 (edited) Eh he still couldn’t make the 1v1 play on that deep ball we need him to make. The low catch he made was a great catch. He had a very good game. Edited January 16, 2023 by Buffalo_Stampede 1 Quote
SirAndrew Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 I can’t begin to understand Gabe, but credit to him for a great game. If he plays three more good games, I don’t care if I ever understand the mystery of Gabe. 3 1 Quote
Sierra Foothills Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 Romo was calling him, "Big Game Gabe." I hope he continues to live up to that one. 1 Quote
John from Riverside Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 I was pleasantly surprised the way several of the wide receiver stepped up, even though we had some drops We’re gonna need more of that 1 Quote
eball Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 Some guys just rise to the occasion in the playoffs. I’ve been as frustrated at Gabe over the past month as anyone, but he showed up big time when we needed him. 3 Quote

AlfaBill Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 It’s one game but Amen to that! Hopefully he can keep this up because our O will need him to hoist the SB this feb. 1 Quote
ChronicAndKnuckles Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 I continually told people that the story on Gabe Davis wasn’t over bc the season is not over. 2 Quote

Florida Bills Fanatic Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 Many of us discounted the impact of the ankle injury that Davis sustained in the middle of the season. He clearly wasn't running well and was not getting separation on his routes. He played through the injury because even an injured Gabe Davis was better than the next available alternative. For the last 4 games, he has looked much better and is once again earning targets in the passing game. I expect that he will continue to make contributions the rest of the season. 1 Quote
Freddie's Dead Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 It was nice to see Playoff Gabe. 1 1 Quote

He did have an almost bye week when we were supposed to be playing Cincinatti. So some recovery is plausible. 1 Quote
BuffaloBill Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 [This is an automated response] As a courtesy to the other board members, please use more descriptive topic titles. A single name if far too vague to post as a title and provides little insight into what specifically the post is talking about. The topic starter can edit the topic title line to make it more appropriate.
