This will get merged Im sure…but it was definitely a mistake assuming the Giants would keep skipping over Hodgins on the waiver wire. Daboll knew as well as anyone what that young man is capable of. 1 3 Quote

ArtVandalay Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 Because Dabol is the brains of the Bills offense, and he's gone took Hodgins as soon as he was available. Should have left McD in KC after his latest postseason meltdown, 13 seconds, and elevated Dabol. 1 7 5 5 7 3 5 1 5 Quote

I don’t recall what the fan sentiment was on Teller when he was here. Was he a guy that just turned a corner once he left? Quote

It was a big mistake at the time, Kumerow is yet another teams guy that can't hack at his day job, like Formosa Jones or Siran Wrap. Too many of those guys, not enough regular contributors. Anyway, doesn't matter, Dorkey was never gonna use Hodgins in the big slot role we were calling for at the time and which he is now killing it. 3 1 1 Quote

Then why was the offense statistically better with far fewer "bad" games this year than last year under Daboll? 1 Quote
pigpen65 Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 Crazy thing to me about Hodgins is that the guy couldn't stay healthy for more than 5 minutes his entire time with the Bills. Who knew he could even stay in a game long enough to have a good game. 2 4 1 Quote

H2o Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 Hodgins truly has made the most of his opportunity. I'm happy for the guy. He wouldn't have been seeing the same usage here though. He's in a great spot where he can be featured. Good for him, Dabs, and the G-men 11 1 Quote

Srw1525 Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 Kumerow was a special team ace which is why the Bills choose him over Hodgins. Hodgins couldn’t play special teams. Quote
