All good things but with the way we escaped from this one, stop me to smile and enjoy. This was the right game to make a real statement: a 9-8 team from the State of Florida playing in hour house, with low temperature and more than 70k people with us a 9-8 team without their QB1 (with a rookie QB3) and RB1 and other missing players we doubled their yards, up by 17 and all of a sudden thanks to stupid plays with two interceptions and a fumble we were down by 4, 24 to 20 ! Diggs disappeared after a monster start, why ? Beas and the slot game, like the short check down, almost never used, just bomb after bomb the run game almost non existent, awful i could say Maybe i’m missing some other point… the coaches part for sure, but i’m too disappointed to start writing about them. We won.. of course i’m happy, but I can’t find a joy because all the above. I AM SORRY guys. get over it. Rough games happen now and then. Miami has a good D but we beat our selves. happens. we won. move on Quote
Scott7975 Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 Chargers were upset. Cinci would have been upset if not for a dumb playcall/fumble on the 1 yard line. Vikings were upset. Miami is back home. Ravens are back home. Bills are still in it but you cant smile because it wasnt pretty enough for you. 1 1 Quote

Of course, or I wouldn't be able to tell that this evening, Sushi was especially delicious! I smiled! Mmmm, Sushi! 8 hours ago, Simon said: You can mope all you want. But I guarantee the Bills are smiling..... Yes! Strangely, judging by Dawkins interview, they seem able to both enjoy and savor the win, AND recognize that there are things to improve and learn from. ExiledInIllinois Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 Can't you smile about this! "...The Dolphins converted Allen's three turnovers -- two interceptions and the lost fumble -- into 18 points, all of which were scored from the six-minute mark in the second quarter to the first minute of the third quarter on Allen's fumble. It was the first time in franchise history that the Bills have won a playoff game despite losing the turnover battle 3-2 (previously 0-13 in those games). ..." They didn't come unglued! Quote

benderbender Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 It almost made a for a terrible, if not informative, introduction to Bills fandom for my 8 year old’s first game. But my streak is still active. Undefeated every game I’ve been to! Quote

CoffeeDrip Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 A win is a win is a win. They’re hard to come by in the NFL and you don’t get style points for pretty wins. Quote
Strethor Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 It is VERY hard to play a team 3 times, and win. I will say this - the offensive gameplan missed the mark vs cover 0 and was way too vertical. Where are the screens? This team should be able to bend more offensively Quote

I’m afraid this is the case. Von getting hurt just changed my outlook. I like Groot but he’s not some monster game changer and then the rest are just JAGs on the line. I’d like to think the bengals being undermanned on the o line will be our advantage but I’ve thought that several times this year and the bills d line doesn’t get home. if you can’t get to burrow, you’re already beat. Their WRs are incredible at the catch point. Our DBs struggle with that. Their WRs are incredible at YAC, we can’t tackle. You do the math. The o line SUCKS too. Josh sacked 7 times is inexcusable.
