As much as I appreciate Geno Smith's maturing and finally playing well as a QB, they need to emphasize the run and not put the game in Geno's hands.  The SF D is just too tough.

Had a feeling hawks will cover but I’m prolly overthinking it. At some point here though some team is going to make Purdy look like a rookie. Could be today.

People have been saying that for weeks; hasn't happened yet.

Although that was not a strong start for him. He doesn't miss a ton of throws but strung together a few questionable ones there.

Struggle with a wet ball?

First playoff nerves?

Is it stupid windy on the Cali coast?

If that was Allen, Gipson would have had an indentation on the turf from getting stuff armed so hard to the ground.

Refreshing to see a defender that actually knows how to properly deal with a stiff arm.

You grab it and try to break it in half.

Won't argue with that.

But the cream rises here and I expect Purdy will eventually too.
