Trock Posted January 14, 2023 Posted January 14, 2023 Good for Matt for carrying the LB crew this year. Hoping we get him some help next. Quote

Many of which were 2-3 years ago. Oh ok but still he’s been a stud pretty much from the jump. He’s had some injuries here and there for sure. Quote
Big Turk Posted January 14, 2023 Posted January 14, 2023 2nd year in a row a Bill on defense doesn't make the Pro Bowl but makes first team All-Pro. Quote
US Egg Posted January 14, 2023 Posted January 14, 2023 The Bills have guys playing for them, too numerous to mention, who look like it was their destiny to play this game well. Quote
Bad Things Posted January 14, 2023 Posted January 14, 2023 The best player on the team, not named Josh Allen. Congratulations Matt! Quote
John from Riverside Posted January 14, 2023 Posted January 14, 2023 Let’s pour one out for our Homie Mike White, who sacrificed made this possible 2 Quote

In fact, I remember many TBD posts claiming he was a liability in our defense. I guess that's why they are posting on a fan forum and not coaching.🙄 Congratulations, yes! Remembering folks thinking he was a liability in our Defense...I do not recall. Availability issues due to his hamstring, yes. Milano is a playmaker! 5 hours ago, Big Turk said: 2nd year in a row a Bill on defense doesn't make the Pro Bowl but makes first team All-Pro. Interesting, odd and rare? Who was last year? Quote
machine gun kelly Posted January 14, 2023 Posted January 14, 2023 I mentioned well deserved, but by far Milano is the MVP of this defense. As much as I love Hyde, Poyer, Tre and Von, we need Milano for it to run well. Just think awhile back the people who griped on his contract. It drove me insane. He is worth every penny of his contract and is actually cheap for a star Wil LB. 2 Quote

His only knock has been a bad tackling % as far as I know, which has been a talking point from time to time amidst the whole defense's tackling woes. Quote

There definitely was a group, right when he got extended, that were very vocal about the fact he couldn’t stay on the field. Which was a flat out lie based on the actual games he’s missed. I’ll live with the tackling stuff. Guy flys around like a maniac. His style is gonna miss from time to time. IMO it’s similar to Josh on a lesser scale. If you love and support the flashy stuff, you have to understand and accept the occasional goof that comes with it Quote
Ethan in Cleveland Posted January 14, 2023 Posted January 14, 2023 Congrats! Guy makes plays. It’s as simple as that. He misses a tackle from time to time but he makes up for it with a key stop or a takeaway. He’s been special this season. A few years back I think many were surprised Milano stayed and the size of his contract. It was a good debate. Many said he was as critical or more than Edmunds. There were some injury concerns and at his size there were durability concerns. Even this season he has been banged up and missed some time. He’s missed games in all but 2 seasons so far but outside of 2020 it’s only been a game or two. He’s proven to have been a very good contract extension decision. Quote
Chandler#81 Posted January 14, 2023 Posted January 14, 2023 13 hours ago, YoloinOhio said: Really? This is ludicrous even for TBD. Are you sure they weren’t thinly veiled Edmunds posts? Ie “Milano is a liability something something because Edmunds?” Yes, the poster is correct. I loved Milano from his 1st game, intercepting a long pass. But he took ridiculous ridicule here for his 1st 2 seasons. I know. I took a lot of flack from ‘know it all’s’ who didn’t know squat, when complimenting his exploits. They’ve all shut up since. Quote
3rdand12 Posted January 14, 2023 Posted January 14, 2023 Milano is a perfect fit as a Buffalo Bill for more than one reason 😉 Quote
Let's Go Buffalo Posted January 14, 2023 Posted January 14, 2023 Milano, well deserved! He should've also gotten a Pro Bowl nod. Quote
3rdnlng Posted January 15, 2023 Posted January 15, 2023 Both Milano and Poyer provided a sense of calm and expected superior defensive play when they were scheduled to start. They, and others were/are exactly the type of veteran players that provide the defense with the versatility that allows the Bills to disguise what they are going to do. Quote
