NfLiCoNz80 Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 I mean i know that they have a good qb and coach, but where are the wide receivers? Our team is alot better on paper. I guess that they have really good chemistry or sumthin. ALL I KNOW IS THAT ITS REALLY ANNOYING ME THAT THEY ARE SO GOOD
Simon Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 I think they execute better than any team in the NFL. Incredibly crisp with minimal mistakes.
KD in CA Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 How are the Bills better on paper? The Pats have a better QB, better group of WRs, MUCH better O-line, better D-line, MUCH better secondary and better kicker. They got some breaks last night for sure, but they are a good team.
RkFast Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 Im really not understanding how people here are downplaying the Pats. It completely smacks of ignorance and myopic thinking. DROP THE POM POMS. KNOW THINE ENEMY.
kasper13 Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 Pats are an O-Line better than anybody else. They are still the luckiest team in the NFL as well. Screw em'.
soljc Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 Two very good replies....Simon is right, the Pats make no mistakes and they execute so well. And I gotta agree with KD in CT, the Pats surely have a better team on paper.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 I dont like the growing sentiment on this board that we should just lay down for the Patriots. Its not hopeless people.
gantrules Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 darn right it's not hopeless!!!! We can take them. I know our offense is questionable but gosh darn it we've got a fantastic D. If we can click a tad more than last year on O we can go somewhere. I REFUSE to throw the towel to the Pats.
Fashionformillenium Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 I still think they're beatable. It'll take a die-hard team to take care of them though. I'm hoping the Bills are that team now.
Realist Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 I don't think anyone here thinks its hopeless. We're all finally admitting that the Pats are a damn good team. Although from the looks of last night, I believe their D is vulnerable. Without the stupid turnovers the score could have been 45-27. The Pats looked like the Chiefs of last year, great offense but Defense was shaky.
