We locked through a 10pt. buck today:

A little "hydraulic assist." Cracked the upper valves to give this big boy a little flow/tush push!

He told me the superstructure of the Arizona was still attached  and sticking out of the water while he was there. He also told me they kept the bullet holes in the walls of the barracks  to remind them. 

My parents  visited  Oahu in 1986 and the barracks were replaced with retired admiral housing then.

USAF PACAF HQ building on Hickam AFB has a lot of scars from 12/7/41. You'll feel some feelings standing before it, or at the Arizona memorial.
