How has Chris Brown been with calling the game?  His calls of the two kickoff returns that WGR replayed this week are great. Wonder if that holds up over the course of a game. Thinking about tuning him in this week.

It’s too bad NFL+ doesn’t allow replays of the radio broadcasts anymore. Would like to know if they are out there anywhere.

Screechy high voice when excited but much more insightful than John Murphy

Romo is a competent analyst, although he can certainly be annoying a times.  One of the few good ones.  Far better than Troy Aikman, for example, or Chris Collinsworth.

Not very high standards.  Higher than a worm's belly/

This, basically. Sounds like he is trying too hard to express emotion on big plays, but it is obviously understandable.

Reminds me of when Mike Tirico started calling MNF for ESPN in the late 2000's after being a Sportscenter anchor for so long. He was kinda meh at first, but now Tirico is one of the best and most versatile play by play guys around

Hey, just wondering, is the Bills / Fins game this weekend the only one on CBS?

If it isn't, do you think they will pull Nantz and Romo off the game because it looks to be a blowout?

Only this place could get 4 pages out of such a nothing thread.

Liked Romo when he first started… that last Patriots was beyond annoying…

Every play, “this could be the season, not that there’s still a lot of time left but this is one you gotta have so it could be the season blah blah blah..“

hard to listen to.

I have concluded after the game that I think the "competitor" in Romo tries to talk up the other team (especially when they are not favored) in what has to happen for them to win or saying things like the "Pats are finally coming around this season, they are peaking", etc that we heard on Sunday. So as Bills fans, when the other team is stringing some plays together or score a TD and they have "momentum", he begins talking them up and aggravating us fans who are already frustrated about the other team making plays.

like change out broadcast teams midway through the 3rd quarter or something?   That would be hilarious actually; they should do that.

Gimme Marv Albert and Paul McGuire.

Boom. Remember Maguire's eagle eyes on short yardage measurements? He was almost never wrong.

Then again he was sometimes way off base in other areas, like saying putting Kelly in the lineup against Miami in the 90 Divisional round was a big mistake lol
