Look at how many weeks Tre was practicing before actually returning. He's been working out and is reportedly in great shape. He just wasn't cleared for contact. My guess is he'll be ready to go by the AFC championship game at the latest. Quote

BigAl2526 Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 Miami will have to play the game Sunday without Tua, and possibly without Mostert. Unless Buffalo completely "discombobulates," they will beat Miami handily. The following game will most likely be against Cincinnati. Having Hyde back and healthy would be absolutely huge in that game. Quote
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 Tua is out. Get Hyde right for Cinci Quote

JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 Haven't read the whole thread, but I just hope he's not rushing back due to the absence of Damar. Quote

I doubt he just wants to sit around all day in his apartment. I'd assume he'd be back in the facility by this weekend. And I'm guessing he'll be feeling pretty good by this Sunday at 1PM. Not sure he'll be "leading the charge", but they will absolutely have him down on the field before the game to honor him and have him wave to the fans. The place is going to be nuclear on Sunday. Poor Fins. Quote

Make no mistake, I would love to see him back, but I just don't want to be seeing a whole bunch of disappointed folks if he doesn't. Quote

I don’t think that’s the case. From his past interviews, he’s been waiting weeks for this week to find out if he could possibly return Quote
papazoid Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 hyde had surgery to repair a herniated disc in his neck 3 months ago in early oct and dr's said 6-9 month recovery. i'm thinking his first game action would be super bowl sooner would be unbelievable.....we sure could use him Quote

I guess I'm just an optimist, but you're right, there's a chance he doesn't see the field this year and I'm okay with that. Until then, I'm going to continue to remain optimistic and excited about his chances of contributing to a playoff run. 1 Quote

It's just a matter of being in game shape, taking hits, and knocking the rust off. Quote
