Jets organization can't even figure out if they fired somebody.

That was a good one! In all seriousness,if the Jets get quality and consistent QB play, they scare me the most in division long term.

They have some really nice young pieces to build around

They shouldn't.

Strange move.  Blame the OC because your QB is a bust.  Lost the top RB.  The offense, when healthy, will be a formidable force.  A tip QB will give them  hope and make playing the Jets a challenge.

  • YoloinOhio changed the title to Jets “part ways” with OC Mike LaFleur

Sheeesh.  That’s good.  Certainly wasn’t his fault

Someone needs to take blame and HC is former wunderkid at defense.

Fire someone in press?

The offense looked decent until Breece Hall went down. I guess they pegged him as the fall guy for Zach Wilson's suckery.

They won’t by the time they find the consistent qb play.  That’s the downside of drafting multiple early round picks in the same couple of years.  They can’t pay all those guys.  They have to hit on a qb in one of the next few drafts but now they won’t be drafting in the top 10

it seems like every team in the AFCE was hurt by injuries but we forget about the Jets.  The ended up losing both starting starting tackles, along with several other lineman and running backs.  Still even with those losses LaFleur was able to call a very good running with backups in the starting lineup.

His downfall is the horrendous passing game which IMO is more on the QB’s than it is on his.  It was painfully obvious the Jets were a good QB away from being a scary team this year.  That’s not LaFleur’s fault…it’s the GM/HC and whoever selected Zach Wilson.

Still Saleh is going into his final season, so he has to make a blooms sacrifice

They asked him if he was fired,  and he said no. He’ll keep showing up like George Costanza and see if the checks keep clearing. It’s the old “act like nothing happened” defense. Classic move.

Well now this just looks like he up and quit your terrible ***** team for a better opportunity elsewhere.

So who does he go and get to right the ship now?  Bevell? Marrone?  Greg Roman?  The guy is running out of Offensive minded coaches he has experience with who dont have good jobs in the NFL already.  Not sure Lafleur is any good, but if they dont get a QB quick Saleh is going to join him on the unemployment line at the end of next season.
