Nitro Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 Strange move. Blame the OC because your QB is a bust. Lost the top RB. The offense, when healthy, will be a formidable force. A tip QB will give them hope and make playing the Jets a challenge. Quote
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 Sounds like he is now out again. Jets gonna Jet. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2023/01/11/mike-lafleur-out-as-jets-offensive-coordinator/ Quote

H2o Posted January 12, 2023 Posted January 12, 2023 The offense looked decent until Breece Hall went down. I guess they pegged him as the fall guy for Zach Wilson's suckery. 1 2 Quote

They have some really nice young pieces to build around They won’t by the time they find the consistent qb play. That’s the downside of drafting multiple early round picks in the same couple of years. They can’t pay all those guys. They have to hit on a qb in one of the next few drafts but now they won’t be drafting in the top 10 1 Quote

Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted January 12, 2023 Posted January 12, 2023 Could now be named 'Special Assistant' to that offensive minded genius Matt Patricia at the Patriots. Quote

The ended up losing both starting starting tackles, along with several other lineman and running backs. Still even with those losses LaFleur was able to call a very good running with backups in the starting lineup. His downfall is the horrendous passing game which IMO is more on the QB’s than it is on his. It was painfully obvious the Jets were a good QB away from being a scary team this year. That’s not LaFleur’s fault…it’s the GM/HC and whoever selected Zach Wilson. Still Saleh is going into his final season, so he has to make a blooms sacrifice 1 Quote
BigdaddyinOrlando Posted January 12, 2023 Posted January 12, 2023 They kept looking for him in his office but he under the desk Costanza style and waiting to clock out! 1 Quote

CorkScrewHill Posted January 12, 2023 Posted January 12, 2023 Thank you Jets for being so blatantly dysfunctional… you give me added hope that you will remain irrelevant. Sincerely, The Bills, Dolphins, and Patriots Quote

thenorthremembers Posted January 12, 2023 Posted January 12, 2023 So who does he go and get to right the ship now? Bevell? Marrone? Greg Roman? The guy is running out of Offensive minded coaches he has experience with who dont have good jobs in the NFL already. Not sure Lafleur is any good, but if they dont get a QB quick Saleh is going to join him on the unemployment line at the end of next season. 1 Quote
