Dolphins at Bills 1995 AFC Wild Card Game

It's officially playoff week everyone. And to keep this this going, I thought what better way to start the playoffs than with our wild card win against the Dolphins in 1995. After a disappointing 1994 season in which we missed the playoffs after 4 straight Super Bowl appearances, we made it back to the playoffs and sent Don Shula home for good as this was his final game as head coach of the Dolphins. Let's hope we get a victory and I can keep this going next week. Feel free to post any memories you have about this game and as always......Go Bills

I was also 9 years old. Going on 10. Remember watching Tim Tindale run wild

This was a great game; so enjoyable to sit behind the Bills bench and watch Miami get destroyed. It was like the precursor to the domination of New England in last year’s playoffs.

Brent Musburger!!! He was still on the A list of NFL broadcasters in 1995. Funny I had forgotten all about him. Now I only remember this controversy about Katherine Webb from 2013. Looking back Musburger was absolutely right. Webb was smoking hot!

was this game not a sell-out by chance? for whatever reason, I have memories of Van Miller calling the game. Not sure why I would have been listening on the radio instead of watching.

Was riding back to Charlotte from Buffalo when this game occurred. Begged and pleaded with my parents to stay up in WNY another day for the game to no avail. Oh well, at least the Bills dominated and I caught most of it on radio

I mean….we just did whatever the hell we wanted in that game.  Everyone remembers Tindale, but it was 24-0 midway through the second before Timmy even touched the ball.  Thurman ran wild, Darick Holmes had a big angry TD run, Tasker caught a bomb from Kelly… it was beautiful.  And the defense had Marino whining and blaming almost from the start.  
 

I want to see something just like this on Sunday, except more.

What I like to call "The Don Shula Retirement Game".  The Bills ran over and through the Fish for 341 yards rushing.  It was glorious!!
