Kiva Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 Mr. Whitewash? He’ll yeah. I’d rather he go to a divisional team so we can abuse him twice a year. 2 5 7 6 1 8 Quote
Bangarang Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 I certainly don’t want to pay him $100 mil. 6 2 1 Quote
akcash Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 Hope we resign him. I don't want to break the team but he has stepped up and is playing at his full potential. 12 15 2 Quote
CNYfan Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 Our defense is markedly better with #49 in the middle of the second level, pressing the AGap, etc. I know he can be priced out but I believe he may very well be tagged 15 13 Quote
jkeerie Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 Maybe that's the good news hinted at on Twitter...that the Bills have worked out a contract extension. 1 Quote
ndirish1978 Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 Tremaine does a lot for what our Defense asks from him. I don't get the hate for him on this board. He is probably due 13-15M/yr and I don't think we'd be better off at the position without him. We aren't drafting high and I dunno that we are going to be able to replace him through the draft or FA without spending about what he's going to sign for anyway. 6 13 3 Quote
Royale with Cheese Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 I think he’s only 19 years old so we could sign him to a team friendly 14 year contract. 4 35 4 Quote

I've been a big critic of his but I must confess that I think he has taken a big step up this year. That said, there is no way I would offer him much more than what we paid Milano. I would let him walk if he wants more than 12-13 mil per year. 1 4 Quote
John from Riverside Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 I trust beane in this if he thinks Edmonds is worth the coin, he will resign him if he thinks he can find a replacement he will Losing good players whenever you’re making the playoffs every year is the cost of doing business that’s where GM’s really do their work 6 5 2 Quote
gtw3 Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 Going to be tough to bring him back unless he takes a team friendly deal. Especially after what Baltimore just gave Smith 1 Quote

Sounds like two guys who don't watch the league other than Steelers games. 2 Quote

Then consider him gone if that’s the case- we’d be lucky to get him for 15M atm imo 1 2 Quote

Interesting ...because these Steelers guys think that Milano got paid " a ton of money" ... $10M a year...! Milano in my opinion has left some money on the table with his deal with is "team friendly"..... probably at least $10M over the four years and likely more... At least he will be able to console himself that he did the " mafia" proud.... and in 4 years time when he retires , we will lift up our drinks and salute him for saving us some cap ... whilst we look ahead to the next draft... Beck Water Posted January 11, 2023 Posted January 11, 2023 Question: Anyone know what it costs to franchise a LB this year? Do they separate Edge, OLB, and ILB when setting the tag value? Quote
