Just say no.

DHop only has any production at this point in his career because of his high volume of targets.

He will be 31 when the season starts. Was busted for PEDs and has started getting injured. Big no thank you.

19 games combined over the past two seasons.

IMO Buffalo needed to get a legitimate slot guy to replace the Bease, not an outside guy to replace Davis.

Last year Davis had 93 targets, DHOP had 96.

Davis had 100+ more yards, more than double the TDs, a much higher YPC average and the same number of first downs generated compared to DHOP.

you do realize Nuk missed 6 games right?

Don't be logical, that's not allowed around here 😁.

100% agree on everything you said, slot and YAC should be what we're trying to find in this draft

Pay no mind to having 4 different starting QBs in 2022 and still popping up 64 rec for 717yds in 9 games.

Hopkins is a top 10 WR right now.

Yeah, but eventually he won't be and on TBD it's never too early to put the kibosh on things! 🤣

Davis had 93 targets in a full season. Dhop had 96 targets in 9 games. Huge difference

Dude, you are to post that negative stuff if the Ravens or Chiefs get Hopkins. If we get him, he is the missing piece to a Superbowl

If they somehow do pull off a trade for DHop, I don't see where there's any possibility they then turn around and draft a WR high right after that..

I want to address these 3 points specifically

1. The only way to produce is by getting a high volume of targets.  However Hopkins will draw attention and force defenses to not focus solely on stopping Diggs.  If they double Diggs, Hopkins can feast and vice versa.

2. Can't argue the fact but can add context.  He missed the first 6 games from a PED suspension (non-injury) and the last 2 he likely would have played if there was anything worth playing for.  The season was lost no reason to risk further injury.

3. The beauty of this move is that it would allow the Bills to move players around.  Gabe, Hopkins, and Diggs can all be on the field with Diggs operating out of the slot.  So this move would give them a legitimate slot guy.

What is the NFL story for the next 3 months if DHop gets traded tonight?   The only story left then is WHEN Lamar signs with Baltimore.   No other likely big name trade candidates........no QB's pondering retirement.   The NFL kinda' needs DHop to not get traded until June at least.

Does this mean that you don't expect Marshawn to drive into someone on Chippewa then?

That was a busy June 2008.

The guy hadn’t missed a game in any season either I don’t believe until he tore his mcl in 2021. Now he’s injury prone 🤷🏼‍♂️. The guy is still a stud. Most likely took peds or some banned substance in hopes of recovering sooner. Gets popped, then comes back and has over 700 yards in 9 games with backup bums.

I think Davis would benefit the most. He would then be WR-3 and would probably have a monster year with Diggs and Hopkins getting the opposing teams top corners.

I'm not sure I see them drafting a pure slot if they trade for Hopkins.

This coming year, with Diggs - Davis - Hopkins, along with Shakir and Harty both being inside/outside guys, Diggs would likely be featured a ton in the slot.

And while Diggs game should age well, as he gets older, he likely becomes more and more of a slot option.
