this entire offeason, you've been treating like some Madden outcome, and linking the possibility/rumors to socials, ie: trading for:

1. Henry

2. Nuke

3. others?

 

This isn't simply moving money around, to your 3rd point.  This is a MAJOR decision to void/eat future cap, something Beane has strongly opposed. 

 

Since when is Oliver being traded?! Did he post something to IG too, that refences the desert, lol?  Beane just said last week he hopes to extend Oliver and Gabe.

 

Beane wasn't asked about Gabe or Ed.  .he brought these 2 players up on his own (that we wants to extend them).  That's way different than you thinking he's blowing smoke.

If they add a player like Hopkins, then they better also prioritize OL or it isn't worth it. Whether Hopkins is acquired or not, the greater issue is Beane's complacency with this OL.

Diggs and Hopkins would be an incredible 1/2 punch. It's not just that. It would open everything up for everybody. Davis, Knox etc etc. Of course, Beane will have to improve the OL in the draft which I think (hope) he will do.

So true. It's always "Bills signed _____" with no prior notice or buzz on that specific player.  The exception is Mario Williams from several years ago.  And that was under a completely different front office.  Even Von Miller came out of nowhere; the talk was Chandler Jones, not Von.  

 

That said, Dhop posting something with "buffalo soldier" playing in the background is a little different from an article coming out that Bills are interested in DHop, so maybe there's a chance(???)

Spot rac yesterday said Hopkins salary cap # can be dropped to 4.75 mil. With a restructure with void years added.

Sal was just on the radio talking to some reporter( didn't catch who it was, may have been a Cards beat reporter), who said it's highly unlikely they keep Hopkins citing the rebuild and all new staff. I expect trade block or release at any time now.

That's cause it's about a window or a wall. Or something. It's not about trying everything to win it all. You know the Bills as an organization they have won so many. It's not like we just need that 1. You know first chip to get us over the top
