I'll have to post on twitter

cause if this is true? 3rd interviews are rare without walking out with some kind of job. Dorsey wanting to take the DC with him is a huge tip in the hat that they both gone.  this is HUGE.

who was the last first year rookie OC to get a HC job with another team?

McDaniel, Stefanski, and Taylor are recent examples.

Mike McDaniel was San Francisco's OC for one year (he did not call plays). So the argument can be made that Dorsey has more experience than McDaniel did when he got hired.

Kevin Stefanski was only an OC for one year before in Minny the Browns hired him. (He was interim OC for a couple of weeks the previous year).

Zac Taylor was a the OC in LA for one year  (did not call plays) before being hired in Cincy. He did have some brief time as an interim OC in Miami when Bill Lazor got fired.

Dan Campbell has never been an OC. Was a tight ends coach.

Nick Sirianni was an and OC for three years before being hired by the Eagles. It is important to note that he did not call plays for Frank Reich.

Arthur Smith was the Titans OC for two years before getting hired by the Falcons.

Kliff Kingsbury was never an NFL OC before being hired as a HC, but he was a college HC.

Defensively, Brandon Staley was DC for one year before getting hired as a head coach. Vance Joseph was a DC for one year before the Broncos hired him as HC. Steve Wilks was a DC for one year before being hired as a HC. Brian Flores was a never a DC before being hired as a HC.

Not sure I agree. They've had a lot of success with Frazier. As someone said, you're pulling your hair out then realize the other team scored less than 22 points--again. As for Dorsey, the continuity with Allen is important. Plus, the numbers don't lie: this offense scored points and moved the ball, despite truly mediocre talent outside of Allen and Diggs. I'm happy to continue with both.

I do think Beane needs a better scouting and pro-personnel department.

If Dorsey does get the job, then what about Reich for OC.

Unpopular opinion, I don’t know what to think of Frank as an OC. He was Manning’s QB coach. 2 mediocre years with the Chargers. One bad year with Wentz, one good year with Foles. Than his recent stint in Indy.

Outside of Frank being Frank, what’s the hype as an OC?

All correct, except Zach Taylor was the QB coach for Goff in LA. He was never the OC there.

He also didn't call the plays in Philadelphia.

Well, he had a good year with Wentz too -- they were 11-1 when he went down in 2017 and the offense was cooking.
