Simon Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 And I appreciate that, I really do. I respect it, am glad they did it and enjoyed watching it. But I think that tomorrow morning they need to recognize that the time for that is over. Because you don't win elimination games by playing with love in your heart; you win elimination games by violently and mercilessly beating the absolute ***** out of people that you hate with a white hot burning passion. If they want to survive this fight next week, they need to bring the brass knuckles and the lead pipes and give no quarter whatsover, cuz they sure as hell are not going to get any. 3 6 1 3 1 Quote

I think they came out with a lot of energy and kind of gas themselves a little bit emotionally then played flat that’s just my opinion if you gauge how the defense was going to play off of their first series I didn’t think the patriots were going to gain a yard all game 2 1 Quote
LeGOATski Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 Yeah, I think they got it out of their system. They've been here before. They know what's up. 2 Quote
SirAndrew Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 (edited) They also didn’t play a full game last week, in addition to obvious emotional aspect, there was likely some dust to kick off. Edited January 9, 2023 by SirAndrew Quote

They badly need to get back to their weekly routine. Full week of practices. No emotional distractions. Hopefully the injuries to Phillips & Brown aren't serious. 1 1 Quote
Dr.Sack Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 I’m excited they get a week at home to practice and get ready for a familiar adversary. 2 Quote

SCBills Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 (edited) Agreed. Cinci came out with violent intentions last Monday Night. We’ve seen the physicality the Chiefs defense played with two years ago in the AFCCG. They need to bring it now that it’s real. Im confident they will. Great point by Simon .. glad we got that out of our system. Edited January 9, 2023 by SCBills Quote
Doc Brown Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 The secondary concerns me the most considering we're pry going to have to beat the top three passing offenses in the league (imo) when healthy to make the Super Bowl. Quote
bmur66 Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 Need a full week of preparation and no distraction for a change. Quote

boyst Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 Amen. If I'm. McDermott I rip the band-aid off them. I tell them that it's ok they were sad for a week. It's ok they have had emotions. But now it's time to grow the ***** up and be men. To go out there and beat their ass. Quote

Oh, Spencer……I know he’s only missed, what, 2 games? But it seems as though he’s always getting dinged, has missed time in 3 other games But he’s the best RT we have at the moment so I hope he’s OK Quote
