Just an unfortunate football play. Ball should come out sooner. If what you are saying is true then that is three straight end zone shots when just getting three there would have been nice. Quote
Straight Hucklebuck Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 I remember a play that was frustrating. The Bills roll Allen to the left on a designed run and he loses 2 yards in the second half. Cook was on the field, and I guess, was a decoy and ran to the right. Allen didn’t look like he had his high gear today running, probably because of the ankle. 12 minutes ago, HappyDays said: I think a lot of what his board identifies as "wide open underneath throws" would actually be 5-6 yard completions in most cases. There's always a LB sitting around the LOS in Cook's field of vision that is going to immediately rally to him as soon as the ball leaves Josh's hands. If Allen decides the checkdown is his only available option that's fine but we can't our run whole offense that way. I'm all for more designed passes to Cook though. The interception Cook does have a good 5 yards of space, but agree, that distance is eaten up quickly. Quote
