loyal2dagame Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 I'll say it. Allen is great. I'm happy we have him, but if he didn't miss 7 quarters of play, we'd be way happier. Quote

Boatdrinks Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 His numbers from last year to this are remarkably consistent , actually. They’re practically identical. 1 Quote

RichRiderBills Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 I thought he had an outstanding year. No doubt he would have put up some big #s v cincy. Most of Allen's lost fumbles this year were genuinely QB pressured hits while passing as opposed to goofy running fumbles. We have to get this guy more YAC and more screens. Quote
Man with No Name Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 the fumbles don't bother me, outside of the issues with backup centers. he had some oddly terrible INTs this season. hope those go away. I love you, Josh Allen! 1 Quote

Ethan in Cleveland Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 He’s the only reason Bills have a chance. But this season was his worst of the last three. Terrible red zone interceptions and the Minnesota botched snap were really bad. Too much hero ball. Just like today. Take the sack and get 3 points. Even if it is KC or Cinci. Missing out on 4 points is way less worse than coughing up the ball in the red zone. 1 Quote

Josh will continue to get lots of TDs, turnovers and wins. Realistically I think he's the most valuable player in the NFL but he'll lose the award more often than not to someone who doesn't give fans the same heart palpitations...and yet the wins are there! I think that just means he recovered 5 of them himself, not that 8 were lost. Oh he’s better then Farve ever was he’s more John Elway 1 Quote

And the number of dropped balls ... 1 Quote

Perhaps it's just his supreme confidence because he knows when he's playing well, he's always going to be the best player on the field. Allen also had arm problems for much of the year. Early in the year, he was playing lights out and then he injured his elbow. Hopefully at some point in his career, Allen plays behind a quality offensive line. More time to throw the ball would help his already impressive stats and perhaps the hero ball would diminish. Quote
