If i've done my math right, I think Allen accounted for 42 of the teams 53 total TD's for the season.

763 rushing yards

6 rushing TD's

8 fumbles

 

Astoundingly close or, in some cases, better considering one less game.

According to Pro Football Reference, he had 13 total and we recovered 5 of them. That would mean 8 lost?

The "Favre with legs" comparison keeps on proving itself.  Josh will continue to get lots of TDs, turnovers and wins.  Realistically I think he's the most valuable player in the NFL but he'll lose the award more often than not to someone who doesn't give fans the same heart palpitations...and yet the wins are there!

Allen had a top 5 QB year. I'd like to see a reasonable jump like this for sustained playoff appearances and a closer look at MVP.

40 touchdown passes

10 or fewer interceptions 

8 or fewer fumbles

I think some of the fumbles can be explained by the situation at center. We missed Morse for a number of games.

Doesnt really matter to me either way. A difference of 3 fumbles is not a deal breaker for me personally.

If what you are saying is the inconsistency is just a part of who he is, I totally agree with you.

 

It's also why you never know what he might look like in the upcoming playoffs.

Last year he was other-worldly.  If he throws that switch again winning everything is more than possible.

 

If he turns the ball over 3 or 4 times in a single game to a solid playoff team, we're done.

It is confusing. I think 5 fumbles is ok for the way Josh plays. Plus 1 was a weak fumble vs the Vikings.
