Good little article chronicling Miami's pretty severe injury problems after yesterday's game.

Tua "in severe doubt" to play; starting RT getting MRI today; may not play; entire OL remains beaten up.

Starting RB out with broken thumb.

Both the star WRs were beaten up yesterday but finished the game; each is babying an ankle injury.

Is the Miami media hooking up the excuse train or something?

Sorry, but with our all-pro safety on season ending IR, his replacement who has been playing reasonably in the ICU, our all-pro DE on season ending IR, one of our 3T DTs who was having a good year, looking physically unable to use one arm yesterday, and two of our WR on IR such that we’re playing guys who were sitting at home before we signed them to PS out of retirement…..my heart does not bleed for the poor dolphins.

My nose does, but I got a Kleenex for that.

Wow, so much trepidation.

The Bills are tough, they can score also and we have home field.

We can take the Miami football team, andI think we will.

Have to beat everyone,  so no use crying about the match up

It's not up to the NFL - the decision rests with Miami team doctors and the independent neurological consultant.

Bills at -10 though... Vegas certainly seems to think there's no chance Tua is playing and Vegas is normally right.

yeah but their independent doc cleared him after that concussion earlier in the season only to suffer another one the following week.   The NFL has its own docs and can veto anything the independent doc says

It's a local newspaper article chronicling the many injuries on offense.

Not sure how that's unusual.

The question is: Are their 3 doctors willing to put their careers on the line for Tua?

I'm not sure. Maybe. But it is becomingly increasingly difficult to find doctors that are going to clear him I bet.

I didn't see Tua being in extreme doubt to play. Maybe I missed it?

But Mostert out is huge. He was gashing is because of the Cover 2 shell that we realistically will need to play again

Def not. He's on a cheap rookie deal and even yesterday had that tough clutch catch inside the 5. Had a catch of the year candidate vs Pitt ..Just needs consistency to be a legit #2

"Just" needs consistency. Weve been down this road plenty in 20 years.

I still hope he can turn it around, but theres no excuse to not draft WR rd 1 or 2. If gabe figures it out, cool, embarassment of riches. Can never have too many WRs.

If we draft a wr day 1 or 2 each year, well keep the stablw full and maybe even end up in a position where we can trade a #1 or #2 receiver, because theyre coming due for 2nd contract, get some nice capital back, while reducing $$ invested in a position thats inflated more tham eben CBs in past off season

Pretty much...double digit leads in the second half of the Jets and Vikings losses and a lead midway through the 4th in the Fins loss.

The only team that has beaten the Bills this year has been the Bills.

Might be able to play some man depending on how banged up tyreek and waddle are.  They did not look healthy yesterday.  Pass rush is usually the best friend of a mediocre secondary and if the dolphins are missing a few offensive linemen they could be in trouble offensively.  With a qb that hasn’t played in weeks  and their two best skill position players banged up behind a patchwork offensive line, I just don’t see how they could outscore us.

We put up points on them last time missing multiple offensive linemen, I don’t think we would’ve punted if morse and bates were healthy

As a human, not only as a Bills fan, I hope to hell they don't throw the kid out there now. I do not want to see him get a fourth concussion in 4 months. It's just not worth it, Miami is going nowhere regardless of if he plays.

I wanted the Steelers. They are completely inept on offense and would get their doors blown off in the playoffs by anyone of the good teams. They are horrible. It’s not the same thing as playing a team with 2 extremely dangerous WRs that already beat you.

I mean, I would have preferred the Steelers but you know people would be coming in here saying "but TJ Watt didn't play and it was Pickett's first start; they're so much more dangerous now and our OL sucks blah blah blah."

I'm usually pretty conservative but this smells like a game where Buffalo should go off.

Fins did great by beating Buffalo once already (even though badly outgained) and really played a good game in Orchard Park to the wire.   Now they have Buffalo's full attention for their running game and speed.  As much as the New England game was important and for the 2 seed..The Bills were already in the tournament,,,and had a terrible week.  They still won but really did not play anywhere close to a complete game.

Now the stakes are for real...and this where Allen and Co. left off after 13 seconds in KC.  You get playoff Josh at home...hopefully playoff defense as well.  I'm normally nervous as hell but this game is not getting to me at all.  The 3rd matchup should not be close like the first two.

The chasm between his 51% catch rate on his nearly 100 target and a 65% catch rate, which is where he needs to be, is around 1 more catch per game.

Just an observation.

Can’t see him missing the game.

Feels like Miami playing games already.

Lots of "tape that ***** up, it's the playoffs" posts from keyboard warriors.

He was becoming a bigger part of their short passing game of late (eight catches vs. NE last week).  Hard to see the Bills respecting that if he plays.

This is gold.

The reason he's taking longer is that he didn't even GO into protocol for his first concussion.  They called it a "back injury" and ran his ass right back out there.  Now he - and they - are paying the price.
