ArtVandalay Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Zero. We handed Dawson Knox 15 million per year without the production for it. Gabe is as good as gone. Quote
hondo in seattle Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Good young man. Works hard. But... Too many drops. Too little separation. 1 Quote
No_Matter_What Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 (edited) He is inconsistent so let's hope he makes big catches in PO games when we will need them the most and then drops some others which will matter less Anyway, like I said before, even though I like him more than most here, I'd trade him this offseason if there is a team willing to give us 2nd or 3rd. He still has some nice numbers and one more year of rookie contract, so it could be possible. And then draft 2 WRs fairly high. I know that Beane loves to keep his own guys but there has to be a moment where he steps a little out of his comfort zone and does something like this. Edited January 8, 2023 by No_Matter_What Quote

As bad as that was, not getting a single foot in bounds on that sideline throw was inexcusable. I mean he should have easily had both and didn’t get one. 1 Quote
vincec Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 He won't get one this offseason for sure. Next year depends on how he plays. 1 Quote

loyal2dagame Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 (edited) O% He's not worth what another team is going to pay. Edited January 8, 2023 by loyal2dagame Quote
GolfandBills Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Let next year play out. I don’t have high hopes though. Quote
BillsFanSD Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 I'm extremely disappointed in Davis and pulling hard for him to turn it around. I thought we had something there. 1 1 Quote

CEN-CAL17 Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 I’ve already said it… if BPA in the draft is WR, it’s a no brainer. Cause I look at FA WRs , there’s really nothing Davis needs to step up. Or maybe he’s just a true #2 WR. Diggs ain’t getting younger. Quote

WhoTom Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 (edited) If he's as bad as some are making him out to be, then why would he command a lot in the open market? I'd defer on any extensions at this point and see how he does in the playoffs and early next season. Maybe by then, he earns an extension. Edited January 8, 2023 by WhoTom Quote
thenorthremembers Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 If he gets an extension it will be after he hits free agency. Type of player the Bills let hit free agency to see what their market is and signs later on when they dont get the contract they want elsewhere. His hands have never been good, just more on display because his targets have went up. His field awareness is also bad. It's mindblowing at how bad he is at getting his feet down towards the sideline. Quote
UKBillFan Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 He'll drop the pen when going to sign it. 1 2 Quote
bouds Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 0 going into next season, his best shot is mid year 2023, but I don't think the team is going into 23 without a backup plan via the draft. Quote
papazoid Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 he's under contract thru 2023. will be a ufa 2024. i think they keep him in 2023..... then not resign him. Quote

Boatdrinks Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Don’t know , don’t care… until after the postseason Quote
BullBuchanan Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 3 years 1.2M AAV - seems fair for a #4. 2 Quote
