Iverwig Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Sometimes it may not be X’s and O’s This team may very well be emotionally spent. They have been through more than any other team in the league and it’s possible it’s been too much for them.

He stayed right in the intermediate zone the entire time. No he didn't. Davis never got open until the ball was intercepted. I’ll watch it again but that’s not how I saw it. Looked like he was throwing it behind the safety with some anticipation and it was going to be a td to me

An INT there is a terrible mistake (like his fumble in the endzone against Minn). He deserves the criticism, just as he deserves credit when he wins us games. It doesn't have to be an either/or.

Comebackkid Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 That's just comical, defense runs right past Mac

I think he's a bad match for Josh in all honesty. They're both very emotional and love the highs. But it's not all on him.
Johnnycage46 Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 I know the opening kickoff TD counts, but this game could be seriously ugly if we didn't hit that. This team needs to get its head out of its ass and start playing even 50% up to their potential.

We don’t always have to defend everything he does.

That was one thing that was good with Dabol...he would get all over Josh when he made mistakes (remember the 3 int game in 2019 against the Pats...he chewed Allen out on the sideline for like 2 minutes). I think Allen needs someone to keep him in check a little. 2

We succeed when Josh says F it, I'll just create and that shouldn't be. 1
newcam2012 Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Defense is bad guys! This is the Patriots hashing them.

Outside of that Raiders game they’ve been down to the wire against teams like the Texans and Broncos. I’d argue the Bengals are playing the best football right now in the NFL. In the AFC, I agree. San Francisco and Philadelphia (when Hurts is in) have been scary as well. Playoffs will be interesting... Allen, Mahomes, Burrow, Jackson, Lawrence, Herbert... there are some really good QBs in the AFC. I expect some crazy games.
