Taro Nimbus Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 Was wondering why he wasn't doing play by play on monday. All they said was he was ill. Makes sense why they didn't come out with this till today as well. Hoping for a speedy recovery! 4 Quote

Fleezoid Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 A video from several years ago that epitomizes Buffalo's football season. The guy probably just got fired, dumped by his girlfriend and is walking because his car just broke down. He's sayin' to himself, "Things can't get any worse!" 1 1 Quote
Steptide Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 Obviously we don't know the extent of his stroke, but my dad had a stroke 10 years ago and you'd never know it. It all depends on the side affects suffered when the stroke happened, with the worst being similar to dick Clark after he had his. Hopefully murphs long term side affects are slim to none 1 Quote
Einstein Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 Chris Brown is going to continue to replace Murphy. 4 minutes ago, Steptide said: Obviously we don't know the extent of his stroke, but my dad had a stroke 10 years ago and you'd never know it. machine gun kelly Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 I’m so sorry to hear this about Murph. Wishing him the best. I’d rather not editorialize on the year. There no point as it’s the past and can’t be changed. Quote
RiotAct Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 I feel guilty teasing him a couple weeks ago about his play-by-play abilities now Get well soon, Murph. Quote
North Buffalo Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 See them a lot in CT, as someone said depends on how quick TPA is administered, extent of the bleed and part of the brain effected..., All my best to John get well soon. 1 Quote
blacklabel Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 Ya know, just when it feels like we've hit rock bottom someone hands us a shovel. Yeesh. Hope Murph recovers! Quote

Bubba Gump Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 The football season and city of Buffalo year from hell, keeps getting worse. Get well soon Murph. Quote
taglientep Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 Praying for Murph. I know he is not in favor of a lot of people here but I love how he calls the games. I love how he's a fan. I like how he describes the plays as they are developing. I had the pleasure of meeting him back during training camp when the john murphy show was on the radio at 7pm, they did an onsite at a bar near camp. SUch a great guy. Lord please help heal John and give him the strength to continue to get better 2 2 1 Quote
