Clowney is better than lawson at both of those things, but it's a role we already have filled. I wouldn't mind having him around but he doesn't add a unique element like say Miller that screams GO GET HIM. Quote
notwoz Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 The Jadeveon Clowney-Browns relationship seems to have reached the point of "irreconcialable differences." I'm wondering if the Bills should sniff around about his availabilty for next season. My concern: Clowney seems to be miffed that the defense isn't built around his abilities, which suggests a level of ego that wouldn't fit in with the Bills' culture. Any thoughts? Quote

C.Biscuit97 Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 Haha, this thread and one hit is why he somehow keeps getting contracts. He is the Sam Bradford of DEs. A dime a dozen player who gets treated like he is some star. 2 1 1 Quote

Dan Darragh Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 The days of the Bills taking scraps off of everyone else's trash heaps are thankfully behind us. No more Reggie Bush, Shawne Merriman, AJ McCarron, Mario Williams, Vince Young, Matt Leinert or other has-beens or never-weres. 1 Quote

He’s got some Shaq Lawson in him, solid in ways but nothing spectacular and he seems to think he deserves star money. 2 Quote
Orlando Buffalo Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 No- he peaked at a slightly better version of Epenesa and is now sliding. He would be our 5th DE and he thinks he is a #1 1 Quote

He's undeniably a better player and would be useful. I think he provides more consistency than Epenesa. Kingsley is actually a better player Quote
frostbitmic Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 If we sign Clowney, how can we sign OBJ ? 🤑 1 Quote
