Q: ask Josh under oath if he could hit Brown or Diggs yesterday with 10-20 mph breeze?
A: Nope.

I think part of the frustration with Josh some weeks is that regardless of situation or weather, he thinks he can get the ball to his guy and his guy can make a play, regardless of probability.

Josh 100% believes he can hit a guy in 10-20mph winds down the sideline.

I am surprised there is no mention of a scenario where if the Bills play the Bengals in the divisional round that there would be a coin flip for that since the Bengals would be the 2 seed if they beat the Ravens and if they had defeated the Bills. In the scenarios laid out the Bills are treated favorably.

Wonder if the nfl would be ok if cincis owners and pegulas decided to just go ahead and flip a coin if that situation occurred.

I was on Page 1 here suggesting a college stadium.. Happy Valley or Ann Arbour. ( I might accept Notre Dame)

Anybody here remember the NHL Winter Classic at Michigan Stadium?? Big crowd and special atmosphere!! Could be even bigger!!

Most college stadiums don't meet NFL standards.  When the Vikings stadium was being built, they temporary played at TCF Bank Stadium (where the Minnesota Golden Gophers play).  Despite being a very new stadium (TCF Bank Stadium was built in 2009), the NFL required all sorts of upgrades to the stadium (heaters under the artificial turf, etc) in order to allow that stadium to be the temporary home of the Vikings.  University of Michigan and Notre Dame both have artificial turf and I doubt they are equipped to be a safe playing surface in late January / February.   Happy Valley is a fun place but it is miserable to get there in the winter...two lane winding roads and only a small airport in town.  It's in the middle of nowhere.

I don’t think the Bills and Bengals can meet in an AFCC game with the seeding as it is. Divisional round only , and it will be played in OP if it happens.

That works for me.  I didn't go thru all the different seeding possibilities because I really don't care if they win as 1 seed or backdoor wc to win SB.

I also consider the Bills to be the best team whether they win the SB or not.  I certainly felt they were the best team in last years playoffs and there's a large number of nfl fans from across team fanbases that would hold that same opinion if they watched all playoff games.

I think it would be rough for the Bills to go back to that stadium again and I'm glad we aren't this season.

I am in NO WAY biased in choosing Acridsure stadium (misspelling wholly intentional)

I understand there really was no 100% correct answer to this messy playoff seeding, but I don't like it.  The Bills were in the driver's seat and were the only team that controlled their own destiny.  Through no fault of the Bills, the league giftwraps KC the bye.  That still doesn't sit well with me.

My ONLY problem with the whole plan was that KC benefits from it... IN NO WAY should that have happened.

KC also lost the possibility of hosting the AFC Championship game, which they would have done if we had lost to Cinci (certainly a possibility) and which should have happened according to the rules that were in place.  Buffalo, KC and Cinci can all feel like they lost something with the solution that was implemented, which to me indicates it's about as fair as it could have been.

Nope, especially when they lost to the Bills.  All they had to do was beat a non-playoff team who had a new QB and they get rewarded with a bye.  Ridiculous.

That was the only reason I really wanted us to win yesterday.  The idea of going back to cinci in 2 weeks was not a pleasant thought.

True.  But everyone with this sentiment just needs to get over It. We played one less game. Yeah, the circumstances were terrible, but no one wanted to finish that game, and cramming it in was senseless. We lost control of our own destiny when we cancelled that game.   It sucks, but thats the way it goes.

We still ended up #2 and don’t play in Cinci or KC again this year. Considering the circumstances, I think we came out as well as can be expected.

Had the Bengals forced the isseue, i would have been in favor of forfeiting the game all together and settle for the 3seed.  Luckily they acted with class and care.

Only having to win 2 games instead of 3 is a big difference.

Given that the Bills were the ones in the driver's seat for the #1 seed going into that game, I think the option of homefield or the bye should've been given to the Bills.

The Bills controlled their own Destiny and have never lost since.

But we didn't cancel the game, the league did.  For us to have lost the #1 seed, we should've been made to forfeit. At least then it was the Bills' decision.

For the league to both cancel the game and then give KC the bye is a foul, IMO.

The Bills also made the decision to not play the deciding game.  Of course I'm not advocating they should have done anything differently.

But I do think the solution they implemented is as about as fair as it could have been.

Do you think the league didn’t ask the Bills and Bengals if they wanted to play that game?     If the Bills wanted to play it, I’m certain it would not have been canceled.
