(1) Fins Talk Sports Network on Twitter: "#BreakingNews per @ArmandoSalguero of @Outkick - Mike McDaniel, Chris Grier, and Josh Boyers jobs are at risk if the Miami Dolphins lose against the Jets and miss the Playoffs next Sunday 👀 #FinsUp https://t.co/MiOT1bHHmm" / Twitter

I hope they don't fire him! I want more .500 football from the genius that was gonna make Tua an MVP.

"They out coached us" seems to have become a popular cliche over the last few years.  Most people saying it are just saying it because they have heard someone else saying it but dont actually know specifics to make it a valid statement.

We should hope for this. There’s only Payton out there and that will cost a boatload of picks. And it’s not like Payton won big year in year out.

Sometimes I just wonder, where people's heads are at. Why would it cost them any picks? Just curious where you thought of this...

He looked good until his scheme was figured out. He did have a good coaching game against Buffalo but Buffalo didn't press like all the other teams did. He also lost that game. He was also severely outcoached in the first game against Buffalo but luckily got a win.

McDaniel is a smug/phony tool that put winning ahead of his player's safety.

Here deserves whatever happens if the Dolphins lose.

How can you say that?!  Cute, lovable, innocent McDaniel!

Isn't it because the Saints hold his rights and would want to receive compensation?

I also think this would be short sighted by the dolphins. But I also didn’t think Flores should have been fired. Miami seems to have a recent history of letting go of above average-good coaches.

Maybe to go after harbaugh?

Yes they do.  Someone on NFL Network (I believe) was talking about this last week.

They were saying they could get (or want) a 1st rounder for him.

He’s under contract with the Saints. The Saints aren’t gonna let him out of the contract without getting compensation.

When you retire that typically voids contracts.

Payton is one of the most overrated head coaches in the NFL.

I think McDaniel has done a great job with the offense especially with a limited Quarterback maximizing his abilities. I don't know if the guy will make a great HC but he is one hell of an offensive coordinator.

He seems like a very bright X's and O's guy, but do I think he's capable of rallying a team that is tanking? Do I think he has the demeanor to consistently keep players motivated? I don't think our McD is a bad X's and O's guy, but I think his exact strength as far as raw leadership is the exact weakness of Miami's McD.

Agree.  He hasnt done anything in like 10 years with Brees as his QB and generally a good roster behind him.

And lol the fish already lost a first rounder trying to cheat to get him.

Saints own his rights. They are not just going to let him go for free

No it doesn’t. JJ watt for example will be under contract with the cardinals for 2 more years. If he decides he wants back in, he either comes back with the cardinals and his contract resumes, or they have to cut/trade him
