It's not THAT big a deal to hide a power cable inside the drywall. 1 Quote

I've used it to play tricks on some relatives when they're trying to watch something on TV. My Roku remote vanished (this still pisses me off after years) and I relied on the Roku app remote on my phone. I always thought it was a pain in the ass, but stuck with it for quite a while. Finally, I ponied up the $8 and got a new remote. 1 Quote

Bad Things Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 My wife and I just recently bought a new Samsung "Frame" TV and absolutely love it. If you're in the market for a new TV, I highly recommend them. Quote

It was about 3’ deep and we had a giant oak entertainment center built to go around it. Our most recent TV is a 77’ LG OLED 4k with an amazing picture. It is mounted above a fireplace and it’s about as thick as a single credit card. Seriously. The change has been absolutely amazing. We bought a house up the road about a year ago. The basement has a 100” projection TV. We asked if it worked and they said absolutely, but we never saw it on until after closing. It works great now, after we replaced the receiver. And the projector. And the front speakers. And the subwoofer. And the cable and satellite boxes. But that screen and those two side/rear speakers worked just dandy! 😋 I don’t mind a bit, because it makes me feel less guilty about what we paid for the house. They never listed it for sale, and their Realtor friend (who I used to work with) let it slip they just wanted to get what they paid for it 4-5 years ago. A lot has changed since then, and we got a steal. I can afford to fix a few things after paying a fraction of what the house is worth. Quote

We had a dinner party once when we had the projector. Last two couples fell asleep watching a movie. i woke to a phone call from the last couple to leave saying a soft porn showtime film was clearly visible down on the street. Quote

Thankfully I received 3 lamps from the company I purchased the projector from. The lamp inside it now has about 500 hours on it, so about 1500 hours left and I have the two extra lamps with 0 hours on them. I should be set on lamps for a long time. 2 minutes ago, redtail hawk said: We had a dinner party once when we had the projector. BillsFan4 Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 That’s a lot of money. You could get a high end OLED TV (or mini LED or QD-OLED) that you know will have an amazing picture for the same type of money. What type of screen is it using? Is it just a cheap LED? Or is it OLED, mini led? Id also be skeptical of it running off a battery. I feel like that’s going to negatively impact peak brightness levels of the TV. I don’t see how the battery will have enough juice for a good HDR experience. But maybe it will? 1 Quote

This is a very good deal for a nice pj. about $500 less than when I bought it. Good affordable entry into pj's. Yes not bad at all. They have a new’ish laser HD projector too. 1 Quote

There were so many pranks. I feel like we were also able to change our neighbor's tv through the window, but I may be making that one up. 1 Quote
