TheBrownBear Posted January 5, 2023 Posted January 5, 2023 Now that we've got the good news on Damar, I can finally get really excited about watching Peterman play this weekend. Quote

The Texicans are playing a foundering Indy team that also wants to lose their last game. This is going to go down to the wire. And it worked. Quote

I guess it depends on whether they like a QB in the draft more than Fields. They’re either going to trade the pick for a haul or Fields for a lesser but still substantial haul. Quote
The Frankish Reich Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 So pure box score scouting here (who in their right mind would've been watching the Bears-Vikings this afternoon?): looks like Peterman gave them exactly what they wanted. A conservative style of play, 11-19, 114 yards (!), one TD, and amazingly, no INTs. Most importantly, it allowed the Bears to lose in a respectable manner that didn't have anyone saying they threw the game to get the 1st draft pick, even though the strategy was to throw the game to get the first draft pick. Nathan Peterman, Bears fans someday will thank you for taking one for the team. Quote

Bet those stats get him signed to a practice squad next year Quote
