Do people here actually think Damar Hamlin has a staff handling his toys for kids charity? Who do these people think is handling this money? While I don’t have a definitive answer, it is most assuredly Damar himself who, quite frankly, is a little busy at the moment. maybe people could just wait a hot second and let things settle down. It’s really just about people feeling sad and helpless and wanting to do something. Sometimes people feel the need to give for something happy. Unfortunately tonight it’s for something sad. 3 Quote

It’s one of the ways people are praying, putting resources into something Damar Hamlin cares about. Maybe there’s an irrationality to it but it’s about emotion. People have to put their emotions somewhere. Who cares about how the money is processed right now? 5 4 Quote

Shallow take. You think the money's going to expire? It's a way to show support and love in a tough moment. If and when he hopefully wakes up, you don't think it'll make him happy to see all of that? Don't let trying to be edgy be the enemy of being decent. Edited January 3, 2023 by HomeskillitMoorman 3 4 3 2 Quote

Buftex Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Forgive me if this has been mentioned already. I wish I had DVR'd the game, but I swear, when Taron Johnson went down to injury (a dirty head blow by Hayden Hurst in my opinion, shocked that they didn't at least look at it) for some reason, when Joe Buck said that Hamlin was coming in, they briefly showed him coming off the sideline, putting his helmet on...he looked uncomfortable to me then. At the time, I just thought it was perhaps concern for Johnson..or knowing that he has become sort of a fan whipping boy over the last 6 weeks or so....I didn't think it was that unusual...but I noticed it immediately. It's not the kind of thing I would normally notice, it was just a brief shot. Maybe it was nothing.Did anyone else see this? 1 Quote

This isn't the thread for this IMO, but the NFL gave them 5 minutes to get back on the field. It was Zac Taylor coming over to to talk to Sean. The NFL then said said temporarily suspended until further notice....don't stick up for the NFL 4 1 3 Quote

If people want to express their concern and it had to be done this very minute there are countless places to donate money where their ability to handle such influx is known. 2 1 1 1 Quote
