Was he conscious when he was put in the ambulance? Could they at least relay that information so that people can get a grip of what is really going on? All the talking heads speculating is making it worse.

The league needs to step in and call this game.  None of the players can be expected to go out there and play.

Agreed. NFL isn’t smart though. We will see if they do the right thing. Bills just need to refuse to go back out. Take the forfeit. Better than going back out and losing by 40 and risking more guys getting injured. It’s a no win situation

I can’t breathe. This poor man, family and team. I can’t believe it.

I just think of Damar Hamlin with kind of a “playa” grin striding into the Pittsburgh game wearing a jacket that said “Love Me B4 They All Do”

It HAS happened before and to the Bills.

Kevin Everett was injured and was saved due to doctors who had done research partly funded by Ralph Wilson.

Really? Shouldn’t they get him to the hospital first and get his mother there in a separate car?

Just speculating, but I would think they are worried he is going to pass and they want her with him

Hopefully that is a good sign. They wouldn't wait if it was still life or death.

Yes, if he was in a real bad spot, they wouldn't be wasting time in the parking lot.

Yeah that doesn't make sense

I was a little young to remember, but this seems worse than that. Am I wrong?

I could tell you from being there it was just as scary. Had no idea if he was going to make it or what was going on with him.

I think that’s basically what McDermott told the refs: that we are not going to play until we know the status of our brother.

And to his credit, I think Taylor agreed with him--that's why I think he crossed the field to talk to him. United front.

If they're waiting for his mother to ride for him, surely that's a positive? If he was in any danger they'd be rushing him to the nearest ER?

I haven’t been this scared for a player since Kevin Everett… freightening

Everett didn’t have CPR done on him for 9 minutes or whatever it was.

This is the end of the NFL as we know it.

Do whatever they need to do. Forfeit. Nothing matters other than this man’s life. Prayers for Demar Hamlin.

This is a cardiac event.  Could happen with any sport, anywhere, at any time.
