Feel terrible for all involved. Prayers for Hamlin/family and a speedy/full recovery. Definitely shows how fragile our day to day existence really is, and how secondary the game of football is to the wellbeing of one another.

Prayers up.  I'm gutted but happy to see nfl community stand up.

I have an off the wall prediction that Raiders and chiefs take a knee to a draw next week if this game becomes a draw tonight.

So does this mean that he has been placed in a medically induced coma? I’m not suggesting that I’m just wondering if that’s what it means

I took it as the put him under

I don’t believe that’s the same thing…they put you under so they can put the breathing tube in.  It’s a normal practice

Last time I saw an ambulance on the field was Kevin Everett, this is absolutely terrible. Just been praying for him for the last hour, simply awful.

What do you mean? When Dane was hurt the ambulance came out.

If the game can't get rescheduled, I could see the nfl calling the game a tie, maybe

It's all up to what happens with Hamlin. If we hear he's stable tomorrow, then they'll play this game Wednesday and maybe move the Pats game back a day or two and give us the late Sunday playoff game.

If not, then there is just no precedent in the NFL.

I’m getting Kevin Everett flashbacks. This is beyond terrible

I was just thinking about that, and how the rest of that game was played. Social media didn't exists then though

He is his marketing rep.

If he is not basing his tweet on word from medical officials,  he needs to be fired.  At this point,  no one should speculate or make firm statements unless backed by medical staff of the UC hospital

Not likely. By mid week all we be as it was especially if Hamlin is going to be ok.

I read that as they need to run some tests for brain damage, so they're keeping him in a coma whilst they do so.

I'm sorry the above is so blunt.

2 of my step-daughters are in the medical field. One is an ICU Nurse, the other is a paramedic in the Army. They're both saying what happened is the hit triggered an undiagnosed pre-existing condition, coronary embolism, or aneurism. I know. Just speculation. But they live their lives in the medical field. Just something else to think about.
