I was worried to see the ambulance, but optimistic that it was a standard precautionary thing we see for neck injuries, that usually turn out to be just caution

Then the camera showed Josh Allen in a panic that you don't see on someone except for on some of the worst days of your life

That will be seared in my brain forever

Keep fighting like hell Damar

Seeing Josh was how I knew it was different

Actually, the conversation is not move to that yet. I’m not gonna call you classless, but you are definitely being obtuse.

Huh?  There was a detailed post up thread discussing the 5 reasons why this will be difficult to fix for the league.

If you are too emotionally upset to participate here now, why don't you leave the computer?

This is terrifying and you hope he’s going to be okay but the reality is that his brain was without oxygen for a long time. He’s being kept alive via machines and I pray for his family.

Booger spoke from the heart  Other two are "suits"

It is really tough. All 3 are in a shock state. This is unprecedented.  Words are hard to come

Agree.  Booger has gotten it from the first where that lady wanted to talk about refocusing

I thought he was about to break down the first time they went to him...he wavered for a bit during that...incredibly hard for players who knows this could have been them if but for the Grace of God.

There's a lot of moving parts here and this is pretty unprecedented.  Goodell may not even have been watching the game.  Until I hear that they were trying to force the continuation of the game after having all the info at their disposal, I'll reserve my judgment.

It's a logistical nightmare.  A tie gives Cinci the division where a loss gives the Ravens a chance.  A tie puts KC in first seed.  I don't envy the NFL in sorting this.

At the same time I honestly don't care about any of that right now.

Agree. No Matter what they do it won’t be perceived as fair by someone.  But like you said who cares about that right now.

Me either, forfeit the game, forfeit Sunday, give us the 3 seed.  None of it matters right now.

The Dolphins, Steelers and possibly Jaguars might have something to say about the Pats game being forfeited. And the Ravens may be unimpressed if this is given to the Bengals.

But there are far more important things going on at the moment.

First of all, I pray for this young man. I fear so much he suffered brain damage from lack of oxygen. As far as the game, how can they be expected to play this week?? How? They will be with their brother. Game should be a tie, if not then forfeit.  Who cares!!!

I know I'm speaking out of alot of emotion right now, but I don't even care about the one seed or super bowl anymore. This ***** is just messed up. God please hear our prayers

I don't think you are alone in this. I for one agree.

This honestly might sink the whole season. Those guys looked straight up traumatized out there. It will be hard to perform at a high level, and I don’t blame them if that ends up being the case.

From all reports, this is true. Praying for no brain damage.

I know it doesn’t matter, but I hate that I was critical of Hamlin on the first drive. Puts things in perspective. Absolutely gutted. It’s a game. Who gives a ***** about football with a young man fighting for his life.

Sickening - and you didn’t know if he was going to live or die.

Those first few moments were confusing and emotional for all concerned I'm sure. But I think the league office was slow reacting. It is always going to be harder to have clear minds for those players, coaches, officials on the field.

Anyway, thankfully common sense and decency prevailed.

Now we just need to hope that Damar pulls through.

I really hope this isn't a situation where the family has to make a terrible decision at some point. This is soul crushing right now...
