Those doctors were awesome in their detailed response to the questions, even with HIPPA concerns. I learn a lot less from a McDermott presser with softer questions 😂

There aren't HIPAA concerns because the family requested the press conference and authorized the doctors to speak.

It sounded as though there were agreed-on boundaries before the conference, and the doctors (I thought) did a great job of gently smacking down questions that went too far.   I actually was kind of flabbergasted by the level of medical detail a couple of physicians who got on the call requested.  They want to know the ejection volume***, what's next, the size in inches?

***yes, yes, I understand what they're actually asking for, but I haven't been able to make a joke for 3 days, work with me

Not to be the materialistic weasel of the group, but....Is anyone else fighting the urge to dream up scenarios on what a amazingly triumphant story it would be for the Bills to win the SB.  I know I am.  Trying to manage expectations.

Tops Massacre

Matt Araiza being released

Dawsons brother

Micah Hyde - done

Von Miller - done

Two historic deadly snowstorms

Damar Hamlin

If anyone needs this, it's the people of Buffalo

Araiza being released was a blessing.  take it off your list of tragedies...

If Damar's recovery continues in the direction it's looking, I'm pretty certain I know who's gonna be the first guy to hold the Lamar Hunt or Lombardi if we get there...

It's gonna be fu***** crazy waterworks. Tens of millions of people crying at once.

If he recovers how we all hope we have already won. No matter what happens in the games

I assumed the 3 referred to Damar's number and the 51 to someone else, but it belongs to a backup linebacker.

It's Cincinnati's area code

Really happy to hear he is making great progress.  I hope he is able to make a complete recovery and be back on the field (if that’s what he wants to do).   Such a scary incident and he has so much life to live, go get ‘em #3!

Hamlin almost dies and the first thing he wants to know when he regains consciousness is: Did we win?

This should be our rallying cry for the rest of the season.   If someone puts this on a tee, I’m buying it.

I hope and pray the team gives Damar a series of positive responses!

Araiza, Hyde, and Miller, unfortunate but not tragedies.

Kim Pegula and the silence around her condition, that's a tragedy.

I was just going to post a wish.  With all the prayers and well wishes I'm still holding onto hope that Damar AND Kim can host a Lombardi.

And this is the exact mindset why 99% of players are not going to blink an eye at returning to play

they spent their entire lives to become pro ball players … Hamlin is a football player

Of course his first question when he wakes up isnt how the stock market is doing… It’s if they won

A bunch of keyboard warriors spent the last couple of days scolding people over caring about football.  Meanwhile the first thing the injured player asks about is football.
