They supported him all season, made the playoffs and generated all kinds of goodwill for the team and fanbase But they'll likely be one and done in the playoffs and whatever team they play (likely SF) will expose Jones for the limited, mediocre QB that the NYG know that he is Then, they'll trade him in the offseason, and build up the capital to draft one of the prized rookies But they're not giving Daniel Jones a big new contract, or paying his 5th year option. That goes against everything that they're working toward in the next few years Disagree. But it's possible. Tyrod was not on an upward trend. Jones is. Quote
Freddie's Dead Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Last year, I hated Dabollocks, as I glossed him. But credit where credit is due, Brian Daboll coached the ***** out of the Giants, and got them to the playoffs with a very ho-hum roster, DJ at QB, and one All Pro in Saquon Barkley. Dude is a witch, and would be my choice for NFL Coach of the Year. Chapeau. 🎩 1 Quote

Trent Edwards looked like the game was slowing down for him when he suffered some concussions that made him capt checkdown and then capt checked out. This injury may just have many players reassess if they want to keep playing. Maybe they need to test new types of protective gear that can absorb some of the force from these impacts. Might need some of those fully padded sumo suits. And the mark Kelso kazoo helmet. Quote

No more extra biscuits for Kelvin and types like him. 🤨 1 Quote
C.Biscuit97 Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 He’s dollar store Josh Allen. He’s been solid with not a lot of help but I think he’s a pretty meh guy that ultimately doesn’t really get you anywhere. Maybe keep him for a year or 2 but they would be fools to think he is a franchise guy. Quote

I've said for a couple of years that he's a poor man's Josh Allen but I also think he has the ability to be a top 15 QB. He has a pretty good arm, good size, and puts up rushing stats similar to Allen -- 705 yards this year with 7 TDs. You could do a lot worse. Quote
