thenorthremembers Posted December 30, 2022 Posted December 30, 2022 Pretty arrogant of him to write about it in multiple books. 1 1 Quote
Not at the table Karlos Posted December 31, 2022 Posted December 31, 2022 Wtf is wrong with people. Was this common back then? I feel like there's a lot of stories similar to this. Quote
Another Fan Posted December 31, 2022 Posted December 31, 2022 Could be. there’s reasons why Livs mom wanted her daughter to have nothing to do with him https://news.amomama.com/268193-todd-rundgren-was-liv-tylers-only-father.html Quote

unbillievable Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Another instance of using modern morality to judge decades-old behavior. She met Tyler in the 70's. She was a groupie who made it to the VIP party backstage. She achieved rock star girlfriend status. Tyler even became her legal guardian so she could tour with the band. It can be argued that in 1973, the "Free Love" attitudes of the late 60's was on it's last legs, but the enforcement of the statutory rape laws had become lax at that point. The new 2019 law gave this woman the opportunity to label her relationship a crime by modern standards. I have no doubt that her time with the band was the highlight of her entire life, until society convinced her that she was actually traumatized. I had this same reaction until I read the whole story. 1 Quote
