I cant even afford the AFC Championship Game 😞

Do you know how much those go for? I got a $250 gift card for Christmas that I am saving for specifically that game if we get there. But I heard tickets may go for more than that. I hope not. I want to do everything I can to be in that stadium for that game if it happens

My dad and I went to the fourth Super Bowl, at the Georgia Dome, the one we should have won but we were so fragile mentally that one fumble and things spun out of control. One of the saddest days I can remember. It was like 4000 for the two of us for whole package with flights.

If we make it this year, I would seriously consider going to Arizona and hanging out with one of my best friends from high school in Buffalo who lives there now. Maybe we’d find a way to get to the game.

My rough Super Bowl 25 expenses when my brother and I went down.

  • 2 tickets, $175 a piece;
  • $1.14 per gallon of gas, 1,233 mile trip, each way, and random driving for 11 mpg diesel RV, about $260 plus let’s say a high of $20 in tolls;
  • $100 in groceries;
  • $200 in meals and expenses for 3 days;
  • $40 or so at the game.

A total of about $970 which in todays money is $2,122.39.

Considering we are bouncing around here the neighborhood of $20,000 I’ll have to get back to you, but I think it is more than likely that you guys are going to have to go without me.

I voted "not sure" before reading the first post.

$6,000 per person?  I didn't know it was that expensive.

I could afford a pair of seats and supporting fees, but in no way would I want to spend that kind of money for that type of short term "entertainment".  Attending a football game in person is no longer my idea of high living in the first place.

Most importantly, if I did spend the money and get to the game, almost FOR SURE I would be the kiss of death and guarantee a loss, making it nice round 5 for the franchise.

I would be sick to my stomach paying that much money for a Bills loss.

I'd rather just stay home and chew on some broken glass.

That's a great point; if we actually won the game, I would definitely fly up to WNY, stay at my mom's house, and want to be in person for the victory parade which I assume would run down Delaware Avenue.

That would be more "special" to me than the actual football game itself.

My parents live pretty close to Glendale, so lodging wouldn’t be an issue.  I guess if a ticket were to fall into my lap I could make it work.  But I’d rather be with my people.  I wonder if they’d have a watch party at the Ralph.

I try not to imagine this too much, but the entire region will be a victory parade for at least a couple of months.

I know Super Bowl ticket prices are absurd (like about 6000$ including fees, etc... for the absolute worst seats.)  Add in flights and hotel and you're probably looking at at least $20000 for 2 people to go together.  I'm looking at my finances, and although I could make it work, it just seems outrageous to spend that much money on a 2-3 day trip.  On the other hand, it could be a once in a lifetime opportunity.  So - if the Bills are in the Super Bowl, are you likely to be there?

I’ve been waiting since the 90’s for another Super bowl- after “13 seconds” hell Yes I’m going with my wife!

Ticket packages are currently 11k pp not including airfare- another 2k each for that - so 25k to See Buffalo win the Lombardi!

the way I look at it- before the Season I bet 1k each on Buffalo to win-AFC East 2k,Over 12.5 to pay out 2k  for 1k, AFCCG4 4.1 & To win SB@7.1=Total 17 k in winnings worst case to get to The Game-10k will pay half my costs!

if they Win Monday night- I’m getting my flights & deposit down!  This is the Year I pray 🙏. Go Bills🦬🦬

I went to first 3 . Never paid more than $150 a ticket. Won season ticket holder lottery for one of them. No way I could pay the current prices. Plus we lost everyone I went to so I'll need to stay away.

I could do it personally but no one else in family could afford a ticket at these prices, so I will most likely stay home and watch w/them unless I get a pair from the lottery as a Bills season ticket holder.

The scary thing is, you don’t even know who the teams will be at this point.  If a team w/ a large fan base from a wealthy area such as DAL or SF makes it, these prices may go up.

Not at those prices. Watch it at home. Besides all of those "important" Hollyweird celebrities need to be at the game so they can be "seen". Most of them wouldn't know the difference between a football and a baseball.

We went to the last two against the Cowboys and had an absolute blast both times. Paid about $175 per ticket. The atmosphere and fans were really great both in Pasadena and Atlanta. But with the today’s ticket prices I’ll admit that I voted ‘no’…and I can afford it now much more than I could in 1993. There’s no event that’s worth $5,000+ per ticket.
