Did anyone else see the ‘targeting’ call against Arkansas in 2 OT? I hope the NFL never adopts this policy the way the NCAA does it. Completely incidental helmet contact and Arkansas doesn’t win the game as they deserved. Just dumb

Arkansas DID win the game

leading with the crown of the helmet, helmet to helmet hit, it wasn't a difficult call. IF someone is grabbing at a runner and happens to grab the facemask, its still a facemask.

It turned out being a fun game to watch.

If Leopold develops a defense, they might be competitive.

They did but it should’ve been decided on that play.

Fair points. I guess to me it looked like the Arkansas player wouldn’t have made such hard contact but the guy fell awkwardly. Crown of the helmet is understandable but it wasn’t intentional.
