Forget it. The Bills are going to have to win out for the #1 seed. KC isn't losing to the Broncos and Raiders.

Agreed. KC manages to pull 2 of the very few teams who’ve given up this season. Even the Texans are playing hard.

The Raiders have been going in reverse ever since Gruden was forced out.

I have to disagree with you on the Gruden point.

Raiders were 22-31 under Gruden's second stint with them.

Bisaccia was 7-5 and got them in the playoffs last year.

Commentary….

speculation that somehow Carr is done is no sense.

look at their games

—loss to AZ on a tie+2 when clock is 0

– loss to Steelers under 2 min left TD

— lose to Rams on under 2 min touchdown

— lost to chiefs by failing on a 2 instead of tying

— loss to oilers on failed 2 to tie late.

— indy got a late TD to take the lead mid 4th

4-8 in one score games

they win 2 of those games they are 8-7 and in the WC hunt.

meh,  Adams wanted to get paid,  it wasnt going to happen in Green Bay with the Pack having to give Arod half the salary cap to keep him around.   add in that Adams didnt want to get stuck in Packland when Rodgers finally f's  off out of there,  which i imagine will be shortly.    im sure Arod told Adams that he didnt know how much longer he was going to play,  so Adams got out of there while he could.   just business.     Adams took a chance to play with his college roomate,  someplace where he'd feel comfortable,  got paid in the process.  he knew what he was getting into,  the Raiders are going to be the Raiders,   like usual.    you dont go there if you want to win.

Adams has confirmed to reporters that the deal he turned down by Green Bay was higher than the Raiders.

No biggee.  Despite having Adams, Waller, Jacobs, Renfrow and a real OC, he sucked.

Renfrow & Waller have missed a combined 15 games this year.

How many Raiders games have you watched this season?

Maybe it's Carr's fault, maybe McDaniels' but Carr has played very poorly in the games I've watched.

Carr is just tossing it anywhere. He was begging to get benched. Now he gets to be away from the team and still make millions. How sad.

But he jokingly used mean words. This is much less embarassing then the 3 weeks of media circus Gruden wouldve brought

Carr is certainly not elite but I would consider him to be a low end franchise QB.   In the right system he can put up good numbers.   Oh well, that’s McDaniel’s decision and if that’s how he wants to proceed then I suppose we will find out how life looks like without a good QB in place after the season.

Im sure Carr will have plenty of interest in the FA market.

I have always been a Carr fan.  Raiders have never done him many favors, between coaches, defense and offensive weapons/line.  It's a shame that he's spent his entire career with an organization who talks a good game, but doesn't back it up.

Carr pulling a Mariota and taking a "leave of absence" from the Raiders.

Except this seems to be agreed with the Raiders whilst Mariota just disappeared (depending on whether you believe the home with a baby story doing the rounds).

Blew a 14 point lead against NE and looked like hot dog poo for most of the second half.. wins because NE does something even dumber than the butt fumble..  the fact is the team could never hold onto big leads.

If McDaniels had even a top 15 defense they'd easily be in the playoffs.  This is not Carr's fault.

How can you say that have you watched any LV games this year? The guy has been absolutely horrible!!

I guess the “anything to help these two young guys” = leaving the team so as not to be a “distraction,” instead of, you know, actually helping these two young guys get better at football.

Carr looks like he’s lost confidence and he rivals Russ for having the worst season by a top 10 QB. His chances for a big contract after LV moves on from him has taken a hit. He has also effectively neutralized Devante Adam’s by his ineptitude. The fleeting nature of a QBs abilities is reflected in the Wilson and Carr 2022 seasons. The OC and head coach have a role in their demise. This should be a cautionary tale for QBs in free agency. Sometimes the right situation is more important than $.
